I'm with you, bronzephoenix! I can't decide which I like best. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the price does not go over a certain amount. You can put preorders on a 2 part layaway which will help soften the blow. ETA: they are now up for pre-order! And much less expensive than I feared. I ordered both; Noa for 'Little Gzhel' and Noi for 'Little Rose'. Though I was afraid they'd cost much more that was still the most I've ever spent in one go for dolls. I'm shaking!
been avoiding dolls for a bit as i deal with real life - and it's nice to see so many new ones having arrived home! i started the blushing on my girl (the color is ending up more of a raven's wing blue-black than a full black, but's very lovely! ) - of course, part way through my can of sealer went wonky and i have to redo half her blushing.... my life is literally just now starting to calm back down and i'm hoping i can start taking pictures again, and maybe get a picture of my girl ephemeris with her counterpart aphelion (dollzone moment)

I can't wait to see her . I finally found a name for my Umi. She is now known as Yasammez. I got the name out of a Tad Williams book. It just seems to suit her! I ordered some cotton gloves today. The kind archivists use when handling art or documents and the like. I'm so paranoid I'm going to damage the blushing on Yasammez, and now the two incoming girls by handling them. I know it can always be touched up or redone, but I can't do it myself (shaky hands). After I placed the order, I thought to myself, "geez Renรฉe, they're just dolls." But then the cuckoo doll lady in me screamed, "no they're not! They're precious works of aaaaart!" LOL
Wow... Are they sold out? I just bought a Noi, the pink version. I'm kind of stunned, lol! I can't wait to get her... I love how unreal she is, how strange she is. Umm... I think I'm in shock that I'll be getting one, lol! I do realize that I forgot to make an account first I wonder how I will check on my order status now...

Yup, just add the face to your cart I also made sure to specify that I wanted the faceplate to have the faceup that goes with the body. Your Noi is seriously lovely

I did "sell my soul" (to my Ex Husband no less, LOL) to get a Little Rose Noi. Noi was the only face plate available in the white skin, and at the time I didn't want her. Now after studying owner pictures I have fallen in love with her. Funny how certain dolls find their way under your skin, even when your first reaction is "nice but not for me". Now I am counting the days 'till she is home Thank you merrijane and KaIsuki for sharing your girls and all the other girls are lovely too. I want an Umi too, maybe next year!
Congratulations Lace Princess! I think these new "total look" dolls are simply gorgeous. Hope you'll share a photo when you receive your Little Rose Noi. I'm really looking forward to seeing new owner photos of these lovely dolls!

i wish i had had the money at the time for a second dentelle girl (i had visions of a geisha or maiko inspired face up on a body blushed to look like carved antique ivory... )... oh well, i still have ephemeris to keep me company for now ^^ and i haven't forgotten about pictures - but we've had storms the few days i've had time to take pictures, so they kinda came out.... not good. i need to dig out my work lamp so i can take nice pictures even when there is no sunlight!

On the website, all of the resin doll bodies and faceplates are listed as Sold Out or Out Of Stock. I emailed Marmite Sue to ask when they would be available again and her response was that she had no current plans to restock them as she is busy with her porcelain dolls for now.
I asked her about dentelle body on facebook and she said that they will be available in a couple of months. I really want to buy a Noi next year.
