I'm sure she will continue with the resin dolls; I think she just needs some time to catch up with her porcelain dolls. I'm waiting for a resin doll with the natural body in pink and the classic Noi faceplate. I will post pics of her once I have her which should be sometime in November. And Lime, your doll is super cool! I can't wait to see her when she's finished too.

after seeing limë's beautiful girl (who is so close to the idea i had been working on, but far better) i'm thinking of stripping my girl completely and trying out the carved ivory/netsuke idea with her.... i always find it interesting when two completely separate people have very similar ideas/visions at the same time, but i must admit a little bit of jealousy over how well her girl came out while mine was a pain in the you know what! (can i blame the humidity here? would that be fair? ) ((btw - limë, i am often in awe of your beautiful dolls and always find it a treat to see pictures of them! ))

Marmite Sue will thread the ribbons for you, for extra, I believe. It's a really nice touch on the dentelle body! I'm interested in seeing what other ideas will happen the future. There are some pretty girls here, and some are quite creative.
She will send you a ribbon and a little tool to thread it in without unstringing the body. There's a tutorial video on her blog. It does not look too hard if you wanted to try it yourself

I think too that's really interesting to see how two people living so far away could have same "feelings" about a doll another strange thing, you girl got pinkish blind eyes.... mine have same ones but in blue :p Still have to work on my girl... poor little one, still missing her hair!
I like her dark eyeliner, emsinnott! Does she have teeth painted, or is that a reflection of the gloss? I need new glasses :/
