Angel Egg Resin Dolls by Marmite Sue

Does anyone own her marimite sue sized dolls? 54cm and up

 

I don't think she's cast any in resin, so they'd be considered off topic here. But if anyone does have any of her porcelain dolls, I'd love to see them! PM me a flickr link if you have one

 

My new girl just arrived, so I thought I would post a picture of my Angel Egg collection. The first girl is a porcelain special, the other two are resin girls - a Noi with a pink theme, and Yuli in the Blue Ghzel total look. The picture is pretty poor due to bad lighting, but here they are:

This is my first post and I've just gotta say that I'm so glad these dolls are on-topic! I saw that the Angel Egg dolls were mentioned in the off-topic list and was disappointed, so finding this thread was a nice surprise. I've been lusting over Eli's dolls for awhile now and seeing all of the pictures and reading how happy the owners are just makes me want one that much more! So now my penny saving begins....

 

I have falled in doll love with dentelle! And the company are so great to talk with. So I am looking forward to I can order my when the new dentelle is ready.

 

I'm so happy, Lisianthus offered me to buy her Yuli and she arrived this week. I'm amazed and spellbound by this dolls beauty. There's no words for her loveliness. I found some stuff that fit her in my own and my friends doll stuff. I'm not sure about the maker of the boots, but they fit like they were made for her. If someone happens to know the maker, please share so we can buy more shoes. The dress is made for slim msd by frezje on etsy. What is great about her dresses is that the top is crocheted and pretty tight when the dress is new so it fits Yuli perfectly. I'm not sure about the pink tights but I think they are made for Ellowyne. The lace socks are actually for Blythe. Angel Eggs have so skinny legs they fit tights for much smaller dolls. What is even more strange is that she fits Blythe shoes made by hotdotz on the bay. She makes Blythe shoes very big and the ones I have is almost exactly the same length as the white boots in the picture. Will take pictures of her wearing these shoes later.

 

She is very pretty! How long are her feet?

So beauty! She seems sotander and sweet, I almost feel I would be afraid to toch her because I dont wanted to heart her feelings. But offcourse,when I order mine, shewill gaveall my hands too But as a safety

 

Yuli got a Narsha outfit from Dollmore. It fits really well. The only thing is that it's shorter on her than on Narsha, so it looks more like a tunic. But I think it's really cute on her.

Yes I saw it earlier today. I got so excited I almost couldn't breath. Lol. The new body is sooo beautiful!! Looking forward to see the new faceup also.

 

Gosh this new dentelle is gorgeous, I couldn't even tell if it was resin until it was written it wasn't. I am highly tempted to purchase this doll! But so broke from buying white dentelle

 

Dang, this new body is gorgeous! If it weren't for the joints, it would look as if it's been carved from marble. Why did I check this thread!

 

Gah! I soooo want this new girl! I'm picking over my dolls now to see who goes to the chopping block. Maybe I can sell enough to raise the funds before the pre orders close! Is anyone planning on getting her?

 

i'm head over heels in love with her, but i just had to sell the dentelle noi i had because of unexpected expenses, so there's no way i could justify a 100$ doll let alone a 950$ one ><;;;

i'll just have to look at everyone else's pictures and admire them from afar until maybe someday things will get better and i can have another lace beauty.

 

Gosh I love the design of this doll! But I am wondering if I should refrain from the resin since I like the porcelain type better in terms of permanence and stability of the material. but she painted her face so nicely. it just looks like she is improving her skills and designs greatly. I simply love her work... i am so tempted to get the resin version, but at a dilemma...*sigh* Her previous resin I could've easily said no but this one looks so similar to her porcelain creations. I love her new face!

 

Sailor, I have similar feelings as you! To me the resin still doesn't quite compare to the porcelain. I like how much sharper and intricate the carvings are on her porcelain dolls. And I also like the performance of porcelain with posing... But I was still FAR more tempted by this doll than the other dentelle.
