1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Angel Egg Resin Dolls by Marmite Sue

May 30, 2012

    1. I think that it's very likely there will be more. It seems to me like the resin Angel Egg dolls are part of a long-term business plan. As for me getting one...I don't know. I really want an elaborately carved one, which isn't so easy to get! And I have other expensive doll purchases lined up. Someday...someday... (The doll collector's motto). :P

    2. I bet if they release the normal bodies, they'll do the same with the carved ones as well and release them at the same time. I want a normal body personally. All those holes? Ain't nobody got time for that! Plus she'd be dressed all the time so it'd be kind of silly to have a fancy body with fabric covering her. We'll just have to see won't we?

    3. OMGosh!!
My Noi just arrived! Right now she is wearing a bubble wrap dress. Silly girl!

    4. Hahahaha, she makes it work.

    5. Morelle: She's goregeous. She does make it work

Marmite Sue posted on facebook and twitter that she plans on casting the golden shoes from the Jenny Fax installation and is taking waiting list notification on it. She also mentioned new delicate hands she's casting.

i'm excited she said my incoming girl would most llikely be shipped with the new delicate hands.

    6. Thank you both! I just got her yesterday from the MP, someone from Australia. I love her but will probably have an artist paint her body for me at some point.

AreeElf. Please keep us posted on the golden shoes and the delicate hands too!

    7. The info is in twitter

Also got more news regarding upgrades she's planning for the dentelle resin line

    8. I received an email from Marmite Sue asking if I wanted the doll as I ordered her, and receive her on time (next month), or if I wanted to wait and see the new updates and get her with those. It means an additional 4-6 week wait. I replied that I would wait to see the upgrades. I hope the Unicorn face is one of the new faces! I hate the additional wait time, but I think it will be worth it to get a shot at the updates.

    9. renee_chan same here I opted for the extra wait,I don't mind it to get the improvements and I am curious which are the new plates. The unicorn one is lovely

    10. I'm hoping the spiral unicorn horn will become available as well, and the gold shoes.

I've been playing around with my other girls to help me get through the wait. Since I don't dress them I buy them lots of wigs to change their look. Anyone know a good mohair wig maker?

    11. I found this wig (size 5-6 on ebay) by seller Jakejewelz. The mohair is lovely and on a stretch cap though I think I need to add a magnet to this wig for a better fit. The wig Aurora came with has two magnets, one attaches to the her head and the second wig magnet is for the unicorn horn. I'd like to find another one with possibly red or blue streaks or tips, just to add a bit of color or maybe contact the seller of this wig, to see if she would make any in size 6 (or 6 and 1/4)

This is aurora, one of the gallery dolls from the recent show wearing the wig I found on ebay. Sorry that I don't take the best of photos

    12. Lisianthus: congrats on getting one of the gallery dolls she's lovely

    13. Lisianthus, wow your girl is incredible! Lucky you!
And lucky me to have one of these girls as well, I can't tell you how amazing she is, I must have taken a million pictures of her! Do we have a Database for these girls, I didn't see one? am I missing it?
Anyway, this is Frenchette, faceup/body blush by me.

    14. Thank you AreeElf and Stella Marris!

Stella Maris, your Frenchette is amazing and also lucky with her great face up and so many photos in your flickr. Did you make her wig? I haven't seen a database, though I haven't looked for one. Congratulations! - Barb in MA

    15. Lisianthus, that wig was actually a second that Tinybear was kind enough to send me when I was first starting to dye wigs myself. I did dye it.

    16. Lisianthus. WOW! How very unique. If she had wings she could pass for an angel, for sure.

Stella Maris Great work Sharon! Gosh! I'm still so happy to see you here, refreshing actually. As you may already be aware, you are my enabler. You have been for a very long time. It was your Frenchette that brought me to my Noi. I am very happy to have her. Searching for an artist to do some body art. My Noi has told me she wants to be painted in shades of deep taupe and light blue.

    17. Who me? Enable? well maybe a little...
      Happy to be here Cathy.
I was so thrilled to be able to buy Frenchette, and once I got her I could not stop taking pictures of her, I must have taken a zillion by now.

    18. StellaMaris: I love seeing Frenchette in pics and in person. I just love her color scheme, I can't blame you on wanting to photograph her so much

    19. Hello everybody. I'm a new member on DoA. I didn't find the right place to introduce myself so I'll just say a few words of introduction here.
I'm French and I've been interested in dolls for only a couple of years starting with Tonner dolls. I later discovered porcelain and resin dolls. Although I must say I'm more inclined to porcelain, I also fell for Angel's Egg dolls. I think their poseability is perfect and they're just the right size. I've recently bought two on the second-hand market: a cream-skinned Noi normal body and the second from one of DoA members, a pink-skinned Yuli lace body.
I'm still looking forward to getting the gallery doll I was lucky to get. I've also ordered the gold shoes and extra feet. I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the New type AE Dentelle. I haven't ordered her. I now regret it :-( Finally I'm also amazed by Marina's Bychkova's dolls although I still don't own one. Maybe one day...

    20. Hi GuyFawkes! Congratulations on your Angel's Egg girls!
