YingYangKira Thank you very much for your comment. I actually sent her to an artist in Sweden. Noi has a lot of detail on her, the artist did an outstanding job for me. I had tried to get in contact with her again but am having a hard time getting in touch with her. She does lovely work.

I'm familiar with the old body (two torso joints) and am wondering how the new one compares to it. Are the hands the same? It looks like there might be a difference at the wrist. Those of you who have both, which do you prefer and why?
Little Egg's new face is the face used for Anastasia, Eli's newest doll. She's kinda pretty actually. I suppose the wig and faceup didn't do her justice. Maybe the problem was also the adult body as SailorOrbit said. I'm curious to see her with another faceup...
My girl should ship sometime this week, as well as the corset & feet parts I ordered It seems like shipping was delayed due to the newest museum installation. I don't mind much though; those nautical themed porcelain dolls are great! I especially like the boy with the little crawfish
Sorry for the double post but I have to squee! My Una arrived yesterday *happy dance* She's lovely, and the extra corset parts and feet parts I ordered for my Ilai are just absolutely wonderful. Plus I received a sweet bonus: updated arms for Ilai! Now I have to bite the bullet and restring her, adding the filigree corset torso and new arms. Maybe I should take some before & after pics? Una is blank but I can snap some pics of her if anyone wants to see. She's going to get a fantasy face up; she's so fairy like
Morelle's Noi is so amazing!! Love the body painting. I received my natural body girl this week and yesterday I did her make up and body blush -and could not stop myself and did a sakura inspired body painting. I am so happy with the tattoo, although it is not perfect. I have already ordered a new natural body girl, she is also going to have some body painting as soon as she gets here (well, she is on layaway, so not going to happen soon) More photos on my flickr. Noi is as beautiful as ever; her new body poses perfectly, the hands are so delicate...What a fantastic doll! I'm looking forward to getting mine (in May-June). I've ordered the Una faceplate - I already have the Noi faceplate wih the old natural body. Your tattoo suits her beautifully as does the headpiece. How do you do these headpieces? Are they beads sewn on lace?
Thank You very much Stella Maris and GuyFawkes This headpiece was made of filigree metal pieces from Etsy and I 'sew' the garnets, crystals and glass beads with thin metal thread. The earlier headpiece (light blue) was made of cotton lace and on that I could sew the beads with normal thread -so much easier than with the metal. I love doing these headpieces, have to get more material to do them
