I don't know if KonDoll have any events either. But I've made my decission to order from them.

Can't wait to get my Sue/ Xu I also have fallen head over heels in love with the AOD Izumi sculpt. I tend to fall for dolls with big eyes for some reason

I'd like to make them friends or brothers. They would look great together

AOD Izumi does have huge eyes! Beautiful. Oddly enough, I recently fell for an AOD sculpt, too (Shang Nai), whom I've considered pairing with my AF Alice. There are so many awesome dolls in this hobby; I find that 7/10 dolls I fall for are from lesser known brands or have few owner photos, which is fine with me because I love being the guinea pig.

She really is so lovely. The shape of her lips reminds me of Peakswoods sculpts, at the right angle.

I do love Angel Fantasy faces, and hands, but I'm not crazy about the body. If I get more in future they might be hybrids

Which brings up the question, anyone that have an Angel Fantasy head find a decent company for a resin match? As cute as the Lena sculpt is, I hardly play with her at all because her body drives me insane xD

 

Which resin color do you own? I have the old AF NS-Pink (not the shame shade as the current NS-P)---if that's what you have, I'd be happy tol share a resin comparison here with my other pink minis.

 

@PeppermintPocky Mine was bought in August 2014 from Mint on Card. I'm not sure if that would make it older or newer NS-Pink...

 

Pretty sure that would be new NS-P. I think AF changed the shades in 2012 or so. My girl is from 2010.

I can't say for sure, but I would say some of the Chinese brands like DollLove, Kids-Sky, etc. may offer close matches (a lot of those I own seem to offer similar resin shades). If your girl is VERY pink, Mystic Kids may be a brand to check out.

Hopefully someone can offer you pictures or share hybrid experiences!

 

Been so quiet here lately. Guess I'll share the picture of my AF Alice I took for her doll profile:



I know her sculpt is unpopular but she'll always be one of my favorite dolls. Groovy beanbag chair, nightstand, tarot cards, lava lamp, smiley mug, and photo frame props all made by me.

 

She's very beautiful I feel the same way about the Dollmore Kid thread. I remember when it was a lot more active there...

love your Eve and yes I've only just noticed these dolls on Alices Collection as they've got 20% off at the moment - they have some really cute sculpts but what is going on with that body? Kind of cute, in a strange way I guess, but far from realism - makes a good clothes horse though!

I know this question was from ages ago, but I'll answer it anyways in case anyone comes to this thread looking for advice xD My AF Lena Eve is currently on the hunt for a new body, because my patience finally snapped with her old one. She was always strung a little loosely straight from the factory but that combined with how I don't generally like her body's aesthetic means I wasn't playing with her as much as I should...so we're gonna change that

Just for fun I popped her head onto my Souldoll Aehael's NL body, and wouldn't you know it's a good fit (the neck is just a smidge too thick for her, so the joint shows a teeny bit if she tilts her head a lot in one direction, but the wig hides it so that's ok) and also the resin match is eerily close. Like, you wouldn't look at her and think she was on the wrong body! She looks so good I'm actually going to leave her like this for a few days, it's so nice to pick her up and carry her around with her being a marionette all over the place >.<;;

I'll try to take some pics tomorrow. The kimono I bought recently was too big for the doll it was intended for, so Eve totally stole it and is rocking it. Lol.

 

I just got my first MSD sized doll, and it is an Angel Fantasy Linda. I got her through MOC Haoqi promotion. I'm so excited to have her here. I'll be sure to look through this thread and see what everyone else did with their dolls. I kind of want her to be an emo girl, but that sculpt has such a soft, feminine look that I'm tempted to let her be a country girl. I guess we'll see.

Oh man, I'm not the only one that got a doll from this company from the MoC HaoQi bags. I got an Emily and her card says she is from 2011. I just love her.

I'm kind of surprised that I can't seem to find any owner pictures of her.
