Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. wow! O_O I like the sculpt of the head, it reminds me of 44cm Rao. ^_^ He could be rao's daddy! an oddly giant father but still. The largeness is incredible, it makes a 60cm doll look like a child! the doll itself is the size of a child! wow ^_^

    2. I like the idea of a huge doll. I was super disappointed by Sabik, I find his proportions to be more than a bit off. But this body looks a lot better....and the price tag is so low (for a doll so large) that it's going to be very, very tempting. Maybe someday..

    3. They have newer arm parts that are larger than the original MA toothpick arms. His hands are a bit small, but noone ever proved that people in real life were fully proportionate either. ;)

      Anyways, I wish that they had spent less time trying to get a leg up on a wildly popular company, and worked a bit more on their sculpts and the presentation of them all. It seems like for everything that's detailed on their dolls, there's another part somewhere that's kind of flat and boring, and needs a little love. I really wanted to like Jergis, but every time I look at him it kind of makes me feel like it started off as a great idea but wasn't executed very well...

    5. I like Primo more than the other 2 90cm's but I still wish for a little more variance in the features, like the noses. The eye shapes change a lot. Why not the rest of the face? I get a little tired of the narrow long aquiline nose and the pointy chin. Dolls this big could carry more manly features easily.

    6. Being a taller person - I don't mind the idea of a huge doll!

      I agree with bdwvr and Meldandy - Out of all of them, Primo is the better of the three IMHO. I think he needs bigger lips though and having a doll that big would definitely freak my husband out.

    10. Just a suspicion, but I wonder if these new dolls are inspired at least in part by the Underworld movies. The Lightning Nicole's outfit is very close to the outfit worn by the Selene character in the first movie, and the new movie that's coming out in January 2009 (Underworld: Rise of the Lycans) deals primarily with the werewolves (hence Jurgis, though there's some pretty obvious influence from Soom there, too).

    11. Interesting thought, though I think it's just coincidence. Just as likely the doll designers looked at what was already on the market (demons, gods, fairies, angels, anthromorphic tinies, and vampires) and jumped on the idea of a full size anthromorphic as something new-ish and different. Besides, Halloween is a good time to launch a monster doll, wouldn't you agree? :P

      So, I am ordering Primo, I can't wait till he gets home!! I need to start working on some clothes for him though, he's only going to have his underwear since I'm ordering him from happyhouse instead of directly :( He needs a good name too!

    20. shastam, I also ordered from happyhouse so my boy will only have underwear too, lol. I've been trying to practice my poor sewing skills but unless AOD starts selling 1/2 size outfits soon I'm going to have to commission someone to make something nice. I also wonder about wigs. I thought I saw someone say that Blythe sized wigs would fit. Is that right? I think Blythe take a size 11 but I don't have one myself, so I'm not sure. Oh, by the way, happyhouse is great, I ordered Bo before they advertised their free face up event, and they refunded me the cost of the faceup! I thought that was nice.
