    1. Shoes are my favorite things about my doll. There are some really cool baby shoes out there and they rarely top ten bucks a pair vs forty plus for smaller shoes.

      I would love to add one of these big-boys to my collection, but I can't sew and really would like to put cool adult clothes on him. I really wish AOD made clothing for their 90cm line.

    3. Well, I don't post him much with his faceup. He's a very gory zombie. But I'll come back and edit this post with a pic or two of before I blushed him. I can't sew either and I have been fortunate to find baby clothes that don't look like baby clothes. The only thing I have had to do to get shorts to fit was to run a string through the waistband so they could be cinched a little to stay on. So far I have found camo shorts, black pants, a black long-sleeved shirt, a surf-looking shirt, and a white undershirt/ wifebeater type thing. All the pants are preemie and the shirts are from preemie to 2 months. I actually hauled the doll to the store with me and tried clothes on him til I found stuff that fit. My biggest pet peeve is when I find a perfect shirt and it has those little things on the shoulders that make it easier to put the shirt on a real baby. I still need to zombify my guy's undershirt and camo shorts. He looks weird with goo pouring down his face in pristine clothing. I have a few tiny tinies and they are way harder to find clothes for and the clothes cost more. The most expensive item my Bo has are his Converse All Stars. I think I paid about 15 bucks for them brand new. And they look exactly like my Chucks. Squee!

    4. Thanks for the pictures, mirrorwalk! He's a very handsome boy! I love the picture of his profile, and those shoes look so adorable on him!

      One of these days Im going to get a "big" boy like you have. But, Im kind of partial to Yue. He's seems to be an AOD 90cm boy that is sold only on the HappyHouse site.

    8. Yep! He is here! I got him yesterday! Omg ..is he enormous! I still carried him around all day. Now he is sitting on the couch until I get a stand for him. I really like him a lot!!!

    9. Congrats! I like Hale's head sculpt a lot more now that I've seen your photos. The AoD pics just don't do any of them justice. Did he come with his clothing? As for carrying him around all day...he only weighs ten pounds! That's a workout! Looking forward to seeing his faceup. I'm all giddy for you!

    13. Good luck getting the head on/off. I found I couldn't do it by myself. Enlist the hands of a strong friend. It was even harder to get the head back on especially since I didn't want to mess up his faceup. But it has all been worth it. Since these guys are 1/2 scale you can get tons of furniture (and props, etc) made for kids. My Bo has a children's chair and a children's table. I'm always on the lookout for stuff at the thrift store. It's difficult to find things that aren't printed, colored or designed for children but they can be found. I don't know if there is a doll stand out there that can hold a 90cm 10 pound doll. There are child-sized porcelain dolls so there must be stands for them? I'm jealous of those pants! Mine has baggy pants but it would be really cool to have tight jeans. Keep us posted when you get his faceup done. I would love to see a blushed Hale.

    14. Rabbit- moon I got him off the MP but I think his clothes came with him. I saw the same shoes on the site. He came with 2 short black wigs. The blond one is a My Twinn Doll wig! It is a little big on him.

      mirrorwalk Yikes, I am scared to take his head off, thanks for the warning! I'll get my DH to help me.
      I am going to have to look for some cool accessories for him.

    16. We have a 90 cm we take with us to the conventions, he's the booth doll Alphonse.
      The mold we have is Ni and was one of the two dolls we originally ordered to sell, we now only carry Alphonse around as an example and we preorder the dolls.
      He is awesome and poses really well and I've found clothing for him in stores as well as it's fun taking him to Goodwill lol.
      He weighs about 12 pounds.
      We got wigs for him from Monique Gold and I've found that the size 20 eyes fit better in him at least to me.

      We've actually had someone at a meetup take pics of him with a puki inside his head peaking over his forehead lol and then using the headcap as a boat.
