aphtaiwan, I have an older P-Normal girl, I just checked her against my newer MNF body, which is a bit pinker, but that would be easy enough to fix with blushing!
I'm looking to soon join the army of Rao owners. I love her sculpt. She proves that you don't need to pay loads of money to get a beautiful doll. Can't wait to get her and give her face-ups.
It looks like she would! I can't say for certain on exact scaling, as my MNF body is male instead of female (and is a hybrid so I don't have a head to compare against), but I think it would work out all right.
How about Doll-love sweet girl msd body? They could fit since they're related. But how about the Little Elva body?
I will try new hair for her after my holidays. I checked dollpamm and it's not what I'm looking for. The high is ok but I don't like those big hips ;-) Anyway I'll be still searching... or I will ask in a separetly post about that :-)
I finally got a new (and good) picture of my old modded Chen, Die. Still so proud of those cheek bones. XD
I totally agree! I have several other more expensive dolls, and I keep going back to my Wang Zi and Rao. They just have personality, and they pose like a dream. I'm so disappointed that they've discontinued the muscled male body. I was hoping they'd change the sculpts to a more masculine face to match the more mature body, not the other way around! BTW - what a gorgeous photo!
I currently have four males at home: two muscular in old normal skin tone, one non-muscular in new normal skin tone, and one non-muscular in white. The older muscular body's feel lighter than the new non-muscular body's. It's weird. Also... their is surprisingly a difference in "parts" (I have NO idea why they needed a new mold for that) but the muscular body's were... more well endowed than the newer non-muscular body's. Anyway, point is, everything changed. With the old girls VS the new girls, everything is the same except the new girl's have smaller feet. My old girl wears more of the same shoes as all the boys. I love them all anyway!
Not something I'd participate in as all my dolls are characters from my novels and have not only specific hair/eyes that never change, they also have clothing styles specific to their species/culture and that is something I need to make for them as the style doesn't exist in ready-made stuff. The only thing with a little lee-way is footwear, but even then, I'll make their sandals or boots to get the look I'm after.
I'm in dire need of an AoD 1/4 left hand. My poor boy broke one of his fingers and AoD doesn't seem to sell hands anymore. Do any other hands work with AoD bodies. He's NS but I've never swapped heads or other body parts so I have no good idea what other companies resin would be a first order match. Any guidance appreciated.... Tom
I would message them and see if they will sell you just a hand, it might not be on the website, but they might do it if you ask!
well I'd actually try contacting HappyHouse4U.com and seeing if they can get you the hand. there have been several other people on here who have ordered small parts like that from them and after they pay they dont hear anything back. Though HappyHouse seems to do really well with dealing with them and getting things. Don't understand it, but for sure ask them!
Hey guys! Just wanted to ask if anyone has an AOD/RS hybrid? I'm getting an AOD body to hybridize with my DZ Mo, but I want to get him a DZ body eventually. If the proportions look right, I was thinking I could just get a Mai head and dye the AOD body to match. So does anyone have a RS head on an AOD body? Or vice-versa could also give me an idea. Thanks!!
My Lisbeth's (Rao) modifications finished. I reduced eye sockets, extended nose bridge, change the shape of lips.
Yep! What color resin will your doll be? I found AOD and DZ white to be a very nice match. But I can't give any input towards Natural or Tan resin colors, no idea if those match.
Thank you for that pointer. While I hate paying that much shipping poor Walter really needs a new hand so I ordered that set for him. I had glued that finger back on and thought that it was OK but while dressing him today it broke off again so I really need to replace it as you can see in this photo from today's shoot.... TomB, I'm sorry, I honestly didn't even look at the shipping! $19 is high... well... I am glad Walter will have new hands!
I wouldn't mind paying that much for EMS service but I won't get them until into October, October! Aargh! Tom
