    5. Thanks to The_Modern_Maiden, Faith In Beauty and Mysteriousmage for thinking my ear piercing brave. It wasn't that difficult though and because you turn the little drill yourself it's not that likely to go to wrong. I found out from another thread on here that the nail drill was the way to go. I got one cheap on ebay and it came with a set of dangles (apparently some people have them hanging from their long nails though I think it would drive me nuts!) which are quite a good size for bjd jewellery.
      Dollfairy your girl looks great and very fashionable:)

      um, whats PVA stand for, i know of Elmer glue, craft glue and such, but those are what fell out...
      do you think superglue would be better since i often change her eyes out?

      Polyvinyl acetate is a component of a widely used glue type, commonly referred to as wood glue, white glue, carpenter's glue, school glue, Elmer's glue (in the US), or PVA glue, as google says.
      My girls' lashes do not fall out, because the glue I used was rather thick. Also a little practice may be needed, it's very easy to glue the lashes askew, and with superglue it'll be difficult to reattach them properly.

      Aww, your too kind! thank you. i work really hard with idrial and her alter-ego, jade, to get good shots. i take about ten photos per pose so i can get 1 perfect and clear one. then i deleete the others that did not turn out well.
      so thank you. i work really hard with the photo taking of idrial/jade!

    12. Faith in Beauty - Maybe you could make the lashes long enough to go inside the head, with the eye-putty and eyes holding them in?
      Never tried it myself, but I've thought about it.

      Maxtastic - Thank you! Fred is a 2010 Min on a 2012 body (Gene and Fred traded body's haha!)
      I had to blush his head to match his body, and I still haven't blushed his head-cap.
      I like his face-up, but I will re-do it one day, I like his right eyebrow, how it's quizzical, & the blushing lines under his eyes, it's cute.
      Most voted on "Hot Chicks" I did to... but they do kinda look like fuzzy ducks.

      Your boy and his friend are cute in their own little video game world.

    14. Using the school/white glue is your best bet as there may come a time when you need to have her face-up re-done (or want it re-done) and it would be very difficult to get superglued lashed off.

      I have found that if you put a bit of white glue (about 1/4 the size of a dime) on your hand in the web of skin between your thumb and index finger of your non-dominant hand and then gently hold the lashes with tweezers and drag the lashes lightly through the glue, you'll get the right covering. Use toothpicks or bamboo skewers (I use the skewers) to gently nudge the lashes into place and hold them there until the glue is partially dry. I wait at least a few hours after putting eyelashes on before popping eyes in just to make sure the lashes are nicely secured in place.

    15. Faith in Beauty just be careful what glue you use as some can eat into things like resin. I use white craft glue/PVA as it's known to be safe with resin. It holds pretty well although they do fall off occasionally but I prefer to deal with that than damage to one of my dolls :)
