Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     3. I'm trying to figure out if I want to keep Sam as male, or turn him into a female. Thing is, I can't tell his skin colour to get a right match. I don't know when he was made (he was an ebay purchase) so I'm not sure if he's yellowed or not...

    4. Hi guys!! *waves a lot* I got an AOD body for my DZ Mo head and I wanted to know if anyone has specific clothing suggestions for this body (the current boy one)?     5. I swear, I spend more time wondering "what sculpt is that??" while shopping for BJD clothes than I do actually buying said clothing. :\

      So, on that note, Hello! And can somebody direct their AoD knowledge towards me for a moment? :sweat

      I keep seeing this one doll in particular being modeled by Mybayer2008 on ebay, and I'm pretty sure it's an AoD MSD... but I can't place which sculpt it is. Any ideas?

    7. @Rakuenless: I'm actually pretty certain that is an AoD Chen.
      The way the eyes are shaped, the lips are twisted and the nose are formed look very much like a Chen :3

      He's close to Sha Jia, but he is a bit softer and a touch rounder than Chen / has a rounder shaped head, while Chen is loonger and more pointy around the chin.

      If I ordered an AoD from Alice's Collections, do you know if you can make requests about the face-ups? I'm looking at a tiny that has freckles and brown eyebrows, and I think I'd prefer it with black eyebrows and no freckles... but I don't know if they do requests like that?

    9. Send them an e-mail, they should get back to you pretty quick. If they won't, you could always order the bjd blank and then find a custom faceup artist here on DoA to do the faceup how you'd like too.

      Also, I had wonderful experience ordering my AOD dolls from happyhouse4u.com - you could also ask them about faceup help also if alice's is unable. I did not have any custom requests though, so I can't say for certain if they could help out in your case or not.

      Tried to go to happyhouse4u, but my antivirus said the page was bad, so I think I'll just stick to either Alice or AOD's main page. :l

    12. Hi. I had boy head (normal skin) and I'm searching for a body ('cause I don't like how aod msd body looks). I decided to get DIM happy boy body 1.
      I heard that it fits with aod but I'm having doubts.
      Does anybody know about color comparison with aod normal?

    13. dim resin is very pink, it matches dod and dollchateau well. I'm waiting for dim body to arrive soon, and if I catch some decent lighting, I'll try to post some photos. But as far as I've read, it's not a very good match.

I'm considering purchasing an 1/4 boy body to make a hybrid with one of my minifee heads (after deciding that the fairyland body just... didn't suit the character due to being too delicate) but am a little worried about the proportions @_@ so I wanted to ask... has anyone tried this before? Or, can anyone who owns both please do a head swap so I can have an idea about what it looks like before I jump in? >A<

      Soenatte: sorry that I can't really help you on this. :/ I think generally minifees are slightly smaller msds? Though I cant say considering I dont have one. Hopefully someone can help you on this, but I know this thread is generally pretty quiet....

    20. yes, the minifees are shorter than the AoD's. At least the boys are. And these would be the old AoD bodies from 2008 and the beauty line bodies from MNF (I'm unsure of age of my MNF as he's 3rd? 4th? hand). The feet are definitely smaller/narrower, too, and I think the MNF shoulders/chest are slightly less broad/thick than the AoD's.
