Misteriousmage: I can totally picture it! ^.~ Well I´m quite attached to her. Does Roxanna has the default FU? Mine does. At first I wasn´t quite sure to get a FU from AOD... no reasons just a feeling. But I loved the FU on the website of Shang Nai so I just thought to give it a try. Now she sits here with her default FU and I think that was the best choice I could have made. How about you?
Mysteriousmage +h_kokeshi You two are too funny! Shang Ni is a beautiful doll, I saw someone else who had her at a meet and both my cousin and I were struck by how pretty she is. I totally know what you mean about puppy eyes to. When I got my very first doll I was so distracted that I had to have my cousin "Dolly sit" her so I could focus on school! Lol Now she's a doll owner to!
h_kokeshi: haha for sure, right? I'm pretty attached to Roxanna as well. She is the one I consistently sew clothes for. ^^ and yup! I got the default FU as well for her. She was the second doll I ever had and I had gotten my first blank. Decided at that point my FU skills weren't up to par, plus I think I got her during a Christmas event, were the FU were free. I do LOVE her face up, though unfortnately, Roxanna's lips have been chipped... so one of these days i'm going to have to wipe her and try to redo it or send her head off to get done. Though that scares me. XD Dove_heart: haha thanks~ To be honest, there arent many AOD sculpts that I like, but when I saw Shang Nai on the website I instantly fell for her. For sure one of the best doll purchases i've made. haha! I know! I get so distracted by them too. they're pouty and always seem to want me to get them toys or make them something. very cool that you had your cousin "dolly sit" for you and now she's into the hobby as well!
I even feel bad if I sew something which is for me and not for her, because her face screams: "And where is my new dress???? Huh??" She´s totally pampered by me -.- Misteriousmage: Ohn no! Everytime I take her out of her box I check-up her face if there is something chipping off. I love her lips there are so sweet pink. v.v Dove_Heart: see that´s the problem why I do stuff with her and for her instead of doing my stuff for university...I have no one to baby sit her... would be too scared that they screw her up(i can be a little bit jealous). I just put her into her box/bed. (and then she looks at me so disappointed as if she would say: "how could you!")
haha I know EXACTLY what you mean h_kokeshi! XD I know... I was sooooo upset when I saw her lips!!! Also wanted to share a picture. I adjusted an SD sized dress I had so that it would fit Roxanna today~
Her dress is beautiful yeah can already see Ayumi looking at me with those eyes and pouty lips, saying and what about meeee??
hi there! i just got my first aod doll a couple of weeks ago so i thot i would join this thread. her name is Tsubaki. she is a an. i am waiting on her twin sister to come in too! her name is Airisu and she will be in white skin. just need to get through the three month layaway.
