Hello everyone! I am new to this part of the forum, mainly because I am thinking about buying two AoD Wang Zi (twins you know :P) and was slightly hesitant before seeing all these beautiful owner pictures I have one question however, and I'm not sure if it's been asked before, but: Is there a possibility to take a picture that compares the different skin tone choices (NS, WS and YS)? I'd appreciate that loads

A friend is going to be gifting me an AoD Chi, and I have two Resinsoul dolls, so I might be able to test my two RS heads for you? I may actually be picking Chi up this week! Speaking of, can I request some Chi spam?
Yay, some other Chis! I ended up picking my boy up later in the day that I made that post. I think his name is Cade, and he's so handsome and mature-looking! I didn't expect that I was going to fall for him as hard as I did! As soon as I got home home and got some eyes in him and some clothes on him (clothes I'd ordered for other dolls that never really suited them, but worked perfect for him!) I also need to take some half-decent not-cellphone photos of him and get a picture posted on here! Oh, have an AOD question! Do they have different hand poses for the MSDs? Or is there just the one default hand pose?
Moswen was my gateway doll. I fell in love with him the moment I saw him and he's still my favourite out of all my dolls (I have 26 in-house and 1 that I've just recently purchased and am waiting on). In addition to Moswen, The doll in the above picture with him, Kijika, is a LE Doll/AoD collab Adonis and their son, Jaiseki, is a Min. I've also got a doll from their sister company, Doll-Love. I really wish AoD still did tan. It's such a lovely shade of warm butterscotch. It's held really well, too, as I've also got a tan Min head (they initially sent me the wrong colour during the free head event when I purchased Moswen) and its the same colour as Moswen even though Moswen has been all over the place and the head has stayed in a box in a darkened room for the past 6 years.
Oh boy, 26 dolls and more on the way? I have 4 at home and 1 more on the way, but with probably 10+ on the wishlist xD Mind you, it doesn't mean I'll bring all 10 home, it's just dreaming xD Ohh, Moswen is tan? He's prettyyyyy. I don't own any tan dolls yet, just "normal skin" - although my Minifee almost looks tan compared to my Resinsouls xD I hate that tan is a limited colour with so many companies, it's like they don't realize how popular it is and how many people would buy it if it were possible to save up for it and get it at any time... It's awesome to hear that Moswen's tan has lasted so well! That's great news about AoD resin!! I'm not really sure if I have a specific gateway doll so much as a gateway meetup group or a gateway friend xD The first meetup I went to I saw over 50 dolls in one place xD And my best friend in the hobby has gotta have something like 25+ BJDs, 18-ish of which are Resinsoul! I didn't know Doll-Love was AoD's sister company, but it makes sense with how cute Doll-Love Kaja is!
I am also planning on purchasing 2 more dolls (ImplDoll Ziv in custom grey & SoulDoll Rail) but those guys will be a ways off as one of my buying rules is that I must have the actual cash in hand before I purchase a doll or anything doll related. That helps to control the spending. I never intended to have as many dolls as I do, but I'm sure we've all heard that a million times before *laughs*. I'm probably biased but the AoD tan was one of the nicest I've seen and closest to real tan skin (no orange undertones with a warmth to the colour). I'm very impressed that it's held steady on the colour as well. I have not been shy about bringing Moswen outside and having him exposed to some sunlight and he really has gone all over the place with me, including a trip to Colorado. I can't say with 100% certainty that Jaiseki (Min) and Kijika (Adonis) have also remained absolutely true to their NY resin but if there is mellowing there, it's utterly even for both of them. I think some companies are starting to realize that us consumers want to see more variations in resin colours. Quite a few companies are offering not only tan now but other fantasy colours like blue, green, grey, etc. I can also understand why some companies only offer tan or other colours as limited things for special releases and the like. There is also the option of dying a doll if you can't get the sculpt you want in the colour you want. That's what I did to get Dakvir (Doll-Love God-Enjoy boy) black. He's utterly gorgeous dyed deepest black although I was too chicken to do it myself and paid somebody to do it for me.

I couldn't get the AoD head on the RS body because the RS hook was too large. Sooo, I'll have to try again when I restring my RS boy xD
