I have ideas for a possible future BJD of a AoD head on a muscular male Resinsoul body, maybe.
Glad to see heads seem to swap fine!

 

i have a rs tang body if you would like me to pop my An head on it for you so you can see how it looks. i also have a pink skin aod body at home right now (her head is out getting a face up) if you need resin comp photos.

Hi! I'm thinking of getting a AoD Wansi as a mini-me doll, and I was wondering if anyone had owner pics of her?

I'm undecided on what color skin to get, if the pink might be too pink or should I get the yellow?

BUT...
I had to unstring Idrial, and give her a "Mr. Clean" sponge bath!
lol, no, she was dirty, and i needed to restring her...
So in process of doing so.. i found a horrid thing!
somehow her elastic was crimped? and ready to break!
if i restrung her like that, she'd shood all over the room!

I Love those purple eyes! they look so handsome in him!

 

Moswen is the one with the purple eyes. He's a tan Chi from 2008. I think his eyes are from Soul Doll although I'm not 100% sure. Kijika is a Limited collaboration doll between LE Dolls and AoD. He's the Adonis sculpt in NY. There were only 38 of him made and I've never seen another one here on DoA. I'd say probably 50% of the pictures that pop up when you google for his sculpt image are mine.

I don't own any girls, so yes, Moswen is a boy. However, he's been called a girl more than once despite always wearing an open vest that shows he's got no boobs.

 

Just wondering, is Wansi an unpopular sculpt for some reason? I'm only finding the company photos of her when I search on Google.
(Edit: I originally asked if she was a newer sculpt, then happened to find the answer that she's from 2011 elsewhere)

Hoping I get enough Christmas money to order her during the current event. Dunno what I'll do with a skull, maybe a Halloween photoshoot in the fall or sell it later.

I'm actually still kinda trying to figure out what colour my Chi is, I don't know if he's a normal skin or a yellow skin or what? I don't think he's tan, not enough brown to him. I really should get around to posting a picture of him xDDD

 

Oooh, as soon as the Christmas check clears I'm ordering Wansi (probably in pink) from Alice's Collections!

I'm also going to get pair of jointed hands, the gift skull, a wig, and some clothes for her and another doll from another company that should be home in a couple weeks. The eyes I want, I'll have to order from DDE - the 16 mm Glib eyes in Maple Sugar.

Alchemist's Fire, I'll let you know if I decide to sell the skull. I'm going to wait until I get it to decide about keeping it. I have a lot of SD guys on my wish list & they might like it or something.

Just put the order in ^_^ AoD Wansi in Normal pink.

I picked the Dika doll 1/4 female jointed hands in normal pink with the short nails. I liked how the short nails looked, and if they won't work with her I can re-sell them and try again.

I think I've hit my agreed-upon budget between the eyes & wig from DDE and all the stuff in the order from Alice's. There were a couple of Licht wigs I was eyeing, but I may have to discuss with the Hubby the extra $80 or so that order would be.

She's going to be a mini me, so I also got her one of those tiny Macbooks. Didn't find glasses I liked for her, so keeping a look out for those.

 

I ordered glasses from Ebay's betrust2008 (for my 1/4 B&G Sharron, but they fit my 1/4 AoD's a little better)

I ordered square, they sent round, let me keep the round, and sent the square they were supposed to send.
Jim (square glasses) is a 2008 B&G Shannon, and Gene (round glasses) is a 2012 AoD Chen head on a 2010 body.

 

Omg The_Modern_Maiden, those glasses look awesome! I've been debating whether or not to get any for Astrid for a while now, but it looks like you can only get the square ones in black now? :/ I don't see an option to choose other colors on there. Bummer.

 

Thanks, The_Modern_Maiden, but I kinda wanted half frame glasses like I'm finding in SD size. She can go without until I find the perfect ones though. ^_^

Does anyone know if there are heel feet that would fit her? Or would it not matter for most MSD size heel shoes? I've mostly got flats ordered for her- Converse, loafers, and a pair of platform mary-janes.

 

They make 1/4 AoD high heeled feet, but I think they are a little smaller than the normal girl feet.
They have an arch to them, but I have a pair of heels that flat feet fit in.
(Melfina is an 2011/older girl body/foot, the newer girls feet are smaller, the high heeled foot is 2012.)

 

Thanks! I asked because I can't find AoD heel feet on either Alice's Collections or Angel of Dream's site. There are bodies and heads for sale but not hands or feet. The mary-jane shoes don't look like they have a very big arch, so they might be fine.
