Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Well from my research on this company apparently when one mould wears out the new mould may have subtle changes like more teeth showing or eye holes being slightly different. Nothing huge but I want one just like his old one.

    2. Yeah, I have a brand new Chi head made last November, and he has non-fang teeth sculpted into his mouth, while people with older Chi heads don't have those other teeth. It isn't a big change, but it's definitely different.

    3. Yep. my Chi is from 2008 and he most certainly has fangs (which I love) but not teeth.

    4. We're in the waiting room and several of us are having problems logging onto the AOD web site.
      We've sent e-mails asking about our doll's arrivals because we can't see if they have been shipped yet.
      (Mine and another person's were supposed to have been on the 10th or so)
      It's now the 16th and they haven't addressed it, or why we can't access the site.
      Getting worried.

    9. I just ordered a Chi and in the company pics it looks like he just has small fangs. Can you post a pic of your boys face so i can see the change? I hope mine has fangs as that suits the character i want.

    10. Well mine has fangs as well as the smaller sculpted-in teeth (you have to pretty much turn his head upside down to see them) but I've modified him into an oni and painted the fangs to look bigger than they are. This is the best I can do as far as a picture of his fangs:

    14. No problem! I feel like Chi's company pics don't actually do much so far as showing off his sculpt. They also make him look very feminine, which he doesn't look like when you have him in your hands. I'm glad I saw owner pics first, otherwise I would've never considered him.

    15. A decent close-up shot of Moswen (tan Chi from late 2008). As you can see, he has fangs. No other teeth in his mouth though (which I'm glad of as I don't like that look).

    16. And this is my Chi. You can't see the smaller teeth from head-on, but his fangs are also visible still. I've reshaped his face (more subtle in some places than others)

    20. Got some new eyes and my long blonde wig fits much better now that i have a silicone wig cap, so she just might keep it afterall :)

      (Juniper, my AOD 1/4 Qing girl)

      I should add that trying to take pictures today had me frustrated to no end with this girl though. She's strung too tight and kept kicking & wouldn't hold any poses unless her legs were just right, and her head keeps popping back to one angle. ugh.
      I had enough of it and she's in pieces, with the elastic stretched out around a table for the night. I didn't have any extra string and since her knot was as far out as it can go from the factory, I hope stretching it overnight will get that little extra length in it that I need. Wish me luck!
