1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

AngelHeim The Medusa Zion discussion thread

Aug 26, 2009

    1. I believe that's just in those photos. Here is my boy, http://i48.tinypic.com/2u4inax.jpg (not the greatest photo, I can take some more if you like), and his head colour matches the same as his body. I think it was just for the illustration of the differences between the resin tones they have.

    2. Though the way they did the shading on the faceup...if you put him on a girl body that matches the resin tone, it makes him look like a rather strange woman with a five o'clock shadow! (it's the only one I had that matched...) But the shading doesn't make his head look like it's made out of different colored resin at all, if it were a taller, male body it wouldn't have looked nearly so out of place!

    3. Can anyone tell me if/what other's company clothes he can wear (if any), Plan on getting him but not the outfit, want him in regular clothes.

    4. He should fit the Soom SuperGem clothes if there's some stretch to the material, same goes with Hound clothes. I find that both the Super Gem and the Dollshe boys (though one shorter and one supposedly the same height, respectively) are both lankier/thinner than the Angelheim.

    5. Thanks for the info at least I have somewhere to start looking.

Does anyone know if Super Senior Delf clothes will fit?

    6. His shoulders/chest are huge. Really big, don't be deceived, clothes will protest if they are tight, I don't think Soom SG stuff will be really exciting unless it's skimpy. I have some DOI clothes that fit, but most of the shirts/coats did not, but I'm willing to keep trying, LOL! I found a lot of the 70 cm stuff I'd gotten from Tata's Paradise was actually pretty good as a fit. I think I had some Luts Super-Senior stuff that fit that I bought for my other 70 cm boys, but I'd have to go check to be sure, that might've been in the 'oh wow his shoulders and chest are so big' category.

Hmm, I've actually wondered how the Iplehouse clothes might work lately, but I don't think he's quite super-hero. I do recall that a Soom MA shirt that I'd bought (works on Soom MA guy or girl in a pinch) did fit as well.

I hope that helps, I can play dress-up with him a little later in the week if you'd like, but work is crushing the soul out of me right now and my Soom Galena wings just showed up so I have to play with those first. :sweat

    7. I haven't ordered him yet (waiting on the tax check) but as I was looking at his measurements I noticed he was quite large in the chest so I know I don't have any clothes that will fit him and I don't want his outfit and I don't need a naked gorgon roaming around my house :sweat If you have time to play this weekend or next week with clothes I'd really appreciate the info. Great idea about IH though, so I'll go look through their site now.

    8. LOL! I will totally take some time to do this for you, I actually bought a few things for the guys for Christmas and we still haven't gotten through everything, so I will play a little dress-up for you and let you get at least something of an idea. We were all pretty much in the dark when we first ordered, and I can tell you, I thought I would have a naked gorgon wandering about for a while! *_* His default clothes from Angelheim wouldn't have suited my James at all, but he's quite dashing as he is.

The only thing I can't tell you about are shoes, James and his sister (I have yet to find her) don't wear any. ;)

    9. So I'm thinking about getting a Zion head and transforming it into a woman, and that's great and all, but I CAN'T THINK UP HER EYES. Any help here? really need to find some eyes.

As reference, she's going to have wine red hair, and a slinky, seductive faceup.

    10. OMG! I just fell in love with those snake parts!!! WOW!!! Love them!

    11. It looks like, with the sales items finally starting to come in from Korea, we'll be getting a lot more activity here on the Angelheim Zion discussion group. I am absolutely thrilled with my boy, now that he's back from his artist. He's turned out even more beautiful and smexy than I expected. I have started his story so please, go visit: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?429813-Beautiful-Beast-(Angelheim-Zion-Medusa)

I've found that he poses and holds a pose extremely well, and now, I have to figure out how to dress him. But, the good news is that Angelheim has some of their outfits for this big guy back in stock. Now to find the money.

    12. I have a Zion the elf (in fact it’s just the make-up which is different from the medusa version), and love him so much !
To wear him, I’ve ordered the Venetio outfit from Angelheim, but also a Dollheart Alexander outfit that fits him perfectly. The Dollheart outfit (for 70cm boys) is shown on a Luts Super Senior Delf. The measurements between Zion and Super Senior Delf are rather similar, so I imagine that both can wear the same outfits.
His shoes come from Alice’s Collections (BT341 model for 70cm). They are large and long enough to fit his feet perfectly. Be aware to check length and width before ordering a model because they are not always the same for all models mentioned for 70cm boys (some would be too short as Zion has big feet !)

You can see my boy here :

      I hope this can help!

    13. Oh those are absolutely fantastic outfits! I had no idea from the photos on the Angelheim site how great that cape really is.

    14. I can share my review:i've bought a zion outfit, and i've tried on my hybrid Io soom head+ angels doll body.
Ok the skirt fits just a bit larger, while the leg warmers, call its in this way, fits loose on anhels doll, the arm pieces fits nicer. So maybe imo angelheim could fits some glamor model trouser, but it's better to check the circumference of the hips.

    15. Review time! I got my Zion monday and I had the time to test some of the clothes I bought for him from Luts so for the underwear and socks, they fit perfectly I also bought a white shirt, it was a thight fit for the shoulders but I manage to put it on but the pants don't fit. I did put them on, but his thighs are too big and the pants are too thight around the waist so he can't sit when he's wearring them. Also the shoes I had for him don't fit either, they're pointy boots and his feet are too squarred to fit in them... Overall, if you have the intention to buy from Luts for Zion, only buy something with a stretchy material or you're gonna want to kill someone at the end of the day ^-^

    16. I just have a question guys. I'm seriously considering order Zion for a character I have in mind (all I'm really waiting on is the money and Angelheim to release their new Elder body) and I just wanted to know what size eyes should I be looking at. Is a 16mm too small? 18mm too big? Let me know please? :)

    17. His eyes are smallish, so I wouldn't go bigger than 14, though a 12 with lots of white would probably look good as well. Though he is a fantasy doll he's got a lot more in common with the Dragondoll and Iplehouse aesthetic which leans toward reality.

    18. oooo He is gorgeous. I really should find some clothes for my Zion, Xander, and photospam him. They really are gorgeous dolls. My boy has the default faceup, and it is just amazing.

*throws in a photo of her boy anyway*

    19. Wow, your boy is gorgeous, Azura_rose! I've always loved the Medusa faceup, as well as the Elf. I actually wanted the Elf faceup for Remus to give him more of a fantasy look, but it didn't quite work out that way...but I love the faceup he has and I have no plans to change it :) I too need to get more clothes for my boy...he's wearing everything I have for him in that picture :sweat But I have three other dolly projects that are slightly more urgent so more clothes for Remus will have to wait...sadly :(
