Elf ears. Nicest face coming with the elf ears I've seen yet on a 70cm boy currently available. Probably won't even go for the snakes, but I'm getting this boy.

 

Tempting. Will be hard to swing during this period of time, though. If -ONLY- the sale period went -past- the 15th, since checks come around the 16th or 17th for my mid-month.

I ended up asking on their QA board about the different resin colors - if there's an example shot of the 3 of them together... And also if you could get the snakes in a different resin colour than the rest of the doll. I'll be curious to see what they say.

 

The last picture for Zion shows each of the resin colors all together. His face is pure white, the snakes are white and the body is natural.

 

I was thinking his neck does look long.

And his "boobs" kinda bug me out.

But 500 ish dollars for a 70cm doll seems like a really good price to me.

I'm so tempted.

Actually, the body shown in the picture is white skin with their brushing. The colored square block next to him is a shade darker and looks kind of peach on my monitor- that's the natural skin.

[ETA] Speaking of: they point out that he's brushed, but I don't see an option for body brushing. Am I just missing it or isn't it offered?

 

Hm. It's also saying 'first preorder period'. Is he going to be available again to order at another time, or is this a one-time-only order period? Anyone know? Is this a detail I just missed somewhere in the mix?

 

From what I can gather, it looks like he will be available again later on, but at his full price and you won't get the "co-founding member" benefit of 5% off all their future releases.

 

Yeah. That would be the part that would -truly- stink -- but finances probably wouldn't line up neatly enough for me to jump on it like they would if they'd only have extended that period TWO MORE DAYS. Argh. You have no idea how much I hate every order period everywhere tending to end on the 15th. *slams head into wall repeatedly*

 

This is so tempting because that is a great price and I love his head. I definitely want those snakes though.. *salivates* I can't wait to see some owner pictures of this guy once he gets out.

I wonder if you can place the order on the 15th, then pay on the 18th for the layaway and have it still count as making the event period? (I read above you get your checks 16th, 17th ish?)

Because their layaway terms is $200 to be made within 3 days of placing the order, then 1/2 of the remaining balance in 2 weeks, then the remaining balance by the 4th week after you placed your order.

The head is proportionally right, but the neck is definitely too long. If he ever ends up coming this way, that neck's going to be sanded down at east 1/5 of the way, along with the moobies and some of the over-excessive muscle. (Don't get me wrong, I love muscles too, but not when there are so many on a body so thin otherwise).... And I would like to purchase him, but clear up some things because I definitely do not want that body-blushing, and would prefer to get the whole guy in NS because... I don't like WS.

 

Yay. He's up for sale and at a reasonable price as well. Shame I can't afford him though ... not if I want to stay in the split for Abadon's head. Well, I really do hope that he will not be a limited time only doll.

 

does anyone know if it will be possible to buy just his head? I want to make him a girl so I really dont need his male body..

I'm guessing that since the snakes are attached by magnets, im wondering if they'll be all floppy or limp..lol..i hate that!!

 

I actually did think about that. I may see if sales over the next two weeks go really well or not... but I'm not really comfortable ordering something and not paying -right away-, like, within minutes. I just feel too guilty and like I'm exploiting the system. Plus, if I -don't- get paid on time (far too common... we should be paid early morning 16th but we almost never -are-) and I couldn't get it in there on time, it'd rightly be a black mark on my account with the company in regard to future purchases. Much as I doubt they really -do- something like that... I just couldn't and wouldn't want to risk it.

Are the snakes attached by magnet? I'm just wondering how they look so fitted with the hair... I didn't think they'd stay on top of a layer of fur wig.

I think the reason the neck is long is because the company is planning on making all of their dolls interchangeable with each other. That's my only guess at this point anyway ^.^;
