Oooo it's dead in here! i received the body I ordered for my kimo's head and it's such a good lil poser! Only issue I have is getting the arms to stick out? (imagine it doing a aeroplane pose!) the shoulder arm joints don't seem to hold their place well at all. Is this normal or is there something I could do about it?
Erm I don't know how I'd photograph the issue. The joints at the elbow stay in place very well but if I were to want the lil body to pretend it's an aeroplane (you know how kids do?) then the arms just won't stay in that position. :s
I grabbed my girl and tested it. I'd never noticed it before, but yes, mine has that too. She came with silicon kips installed and I had to fiddle a bit to get one out of her shoulder joint, lol. With it in she can sort of hold the airplane pose, but it still depends on how you twist the arms.
ah ok, I don't see any kips in my joints. I'm not too bothered by the arm thing as the rest of the body poses so well! I imagine I'll get better poses when she has her head, right now she's looking a lil odd without one. XD Thank you for the help!
Ah I haven't even restrung a doll before so I'm quite happy to leave it as it is...at least for now. :P I can't believe how sturdy they are! I love that the thigh joint can hold in different places so you can really curl them up into a ball! Can't wait for my twins now! ^_^ Oh and I once again love AS! Since this was just a body, I wasn't expecting it to come in a box or pouch but I got both! I adore the silky carrying pouch, it will be very useful for storing them! I think AS has my favourite packaging so far. ^_^
Oh yes, definitely mine too. I've had dolls from quite a few companies now, but there is just something very special about receiving a doll from AS

Adorable pics of your twins, Supernova! I don't have any of the AS Baby dolls but I love the look of them and hopefully I'll add one to my family someday. I especially like the Starry Baby series so far!
