I wouldn’t expect any company to do faceups for another company’s sculpt. Heck, are there any that will re-do a faceup of their own product?

 

Hey guys. Does anyone use jointed hands on AS 74cm dolls? Which company's jointed hands work best with it?

 

I think Crobidoll, and Little Monica, has offered to do that, but only during limited times.

 

AS has told me in the past that they'll redo the faceup on my AS dolls if I ever need it, but they won't do faceups on dolls from other companies.

 

Well, that is a HUGE relief, because my beautiful AS David has a tiny chip on his chin. Nothing serious now, but the thought of having his face redone some day scared me. I love the one he has, now!

Of course it's best to make sure that hasn't changed, but that's the answer I got when I asked a while ago. Their faceups are beautiful, I definitely relate to your fear of losing his!

 

I received email from them today:

Dear ,
Yes, you can send your doll back and draw Lan Ling face makeup .Your next order, and then send your doll to us .

I guess from this response, "send your doll back" means only AS doll? I don't really understand the email though XD.

 

It sounds to me like they mean you should order the faceup first and then send the head to them. I think it's safe to assume only AS dolls, yeah.

 

So, I didn’t give many pics of Diao Chan all set up when I did the unboxing. I needed to glue her id plate back on her head, the light was questionable, yada yada yada...

Somewhat random shot in the dark - does anyone know how Soom Supergem female clothing fits on the Angell Studio Charm 62 female body?

 

@akiko0021 - it's kinda the opposite of what you're asking, but I found this picture of a Soom Super Gem wearing an Angell Studio outfit (I think it's Victoria's limited dress?). Hopefully it gives you an idea of the fit? Maybe...

 

@satyrsmoon your google skills exceed mine. Wish it wasn't black so I could see the lines better. I'll admit, I have made so many things fit that didn't quite before... I may just order and see.

I wish they would re-release Victoria and Elizabeth. I just got a Victoria second hand and now I wish I hadn't sold elizabeth.

 

Excellent. I am actually thinking of things entirely backwards - I have a number of limited edition Soom outfits... and my Soom Cuprit wants a style change. So I was looking at getting Bai Ning to wear them instead.

 

I have a cuprit on layaway second hand! I used to have one a long time ago from the first release and selling her was the dumbest thing i have ever done!

 

@nocturneofsilence - I got mine secondhand ages ago now. She is normal skin (SO release) but with the ice-hooves from her first (MD) release. She was one I looked at every time she was released - and when I found her secondhand with everything I jumped on it. I just wish she had the pointy ears of that her Monthly Doll version had... But she is tired of being a priestess and wants to go more hunter now.

 

I just realised that my AS Victoria didnt come with a COA ????
I always keep all the wrapping an paperwork in the box that the doll shipped in but I just checked and there definitely isnt a COA is this normal?

 

I don’t know when Victoria was released, or if that has something to do with it, but I know my Bing Yi had a CoA, and she’s from... 2016 or early 2017?

 

I got her in 2016. I've emailed AS to request a COA is sent

 

@Ishtar I ordered Victoria (my avatar) in January 2015 (my first bjd order), with Elizabeth, and they both came with COA. I hope you don't have any issues getting the COA. My Kana in 2016 also had the COA in the box. I think they were under the pillow, though, if I remember correctly. I kind of remember having to look for them. I was worried I threw them out by accident at one point and later found them in a plastic storage box with the full set. I've wondered since then how hard it would be to get a replacement if that happened. Will you keep us updated?
