Any doll plans during the Christmas season?

I'm hoping Simply Divine will do their winter sale this year so i can get the Thomas head sculpt! I've wanted him since I saw him!

 

They did for the past 2 years around December, so maybe they'll have it this year?
They might skip it this time around, but I'd wait and see if it happens and who they offer.

 

Maybe the doll I pre-ordered on valentines day will finally come home for Christmas

My plan is to spend my time off writing for my doll story and finishing dioramas, since it will be poor faceup weather I can focus on that stuff especially!

 

I may ask my husband for some things, or gift cards to buy a few things (wigs and shoes mostly), and if i get other money as gifts, I'll use it to make bigger layaway payments on my layaways than normal!

 

If Harucasting’s Daye ends up getting a preorder in December like he originally planned, I’ll ask my fiancé to go halfsies with me as a Christmas gift. If not, that’s fine. I already got a little Christmas tree set up for my dolls, and have some festive outfits in storage that I’ll change them into for holiday photos.

 

I plan to try and at least buy clothes for my boy, but it's hard since he's over 72 cm tall! He also has very large feet and I've only found one pair of boots he can wear that I'll try to order as a self gift hehe

 

Im hoping the body I ordered for my boy will come before Christmas so that I can have him complete for the holidays! Other than that I'm also considering buying an MSD boy as a gift to myself..but I'm on the fence since I have so many dolls now lol

 

I can't spend any more money on dolls but I do want to get my desk cleared off so I can set my sewing machine up and do some sewing for dolls. During Christmastime I always get in a creative mood.

 

I'm rather impatiently awaiting more news on the Volks Rose of Versailles girls. I'm trying to be good and save for Lady Oscar - fingers crossed!

 

I'm hoping that the dolls I ordered this summer will be coming home for the Christmas/New Year season. ;v; I'm not planning to buy anymore since all of them already have a nice selection of stuff coming in or already here. Just need them to come home for the holidays!!

 

I like to make some holiday-themed clothing and maybe take some pictures in the snow. I don't expect anyone I have on order to show up so soon, but that would be a lovely bonus.

 

Doll companies usually have good sales/events around Christmas that I like to take advantage of, but I've been going so overboard on doll purchases this year that I feel like I need to restrain myself when I see them, haha. It's to be seen if I actually will exercise restraint or not, though, lol.

 

I also want to buy a doll over the Christmas period for three reasons: a) it's a season of sales and events, b) I want to mark my 10th anniversary in the hobby with a doll c) I want to bring back the character/doll I bought as my very first one 10 years ago. All the three combined. Meanwhile, I want to sell 2 dolls, so I'll still probably end up having one less or, at least, no more.

Obviously, I have plans for some sewing unless I go to travel. But I'll take my car with me and will go alone, so I'll be too scared to walk in the evenings, so then I may sew on a sewing machine that i'll be able to take with me. We'll see

 

My wife said she'd buy me a new doll for xmas so looking forward to that! I may also try and grab a few things with sales after I do all my holiday shopping for everyone else.

 

I just put a new Doll Chateau girl on layaway, but I wouldn't call that a Christmas plan. I'm quite new to this hobby so this is my first Christmas with my dolls, I'm excited to hopefully find some cute Christmas props and get some festive pictures of my current crew. Most are demons, but they can celebrate the holidays, too right?

 

I finished my DollZone Gray layaway a couple of weeks ago, who I bought as an "early holiday present," but doubt he or another doll I just paid for will arrive on time. Both were purchased as presents to myself lol But maybe I'll add some more clothes pr props, will see!

 

I'm waiting for my first doll to come in and don't expect to get her until next year. Who knows maybe it will be a Christmas miracle! Lol Anyways I still want to make a Santa hat for my doll. I just won't know if I sized it correctly until she gets here!

 

Well, I just nabbed a couple of rRabit's lucky bags, so hopefully my dolls will have some nice new clothes for the holidays. Fingers crossed for pants and a pair of shoes that someone can actually wear.

 

i might get my dolls some new clothes but aside from that i dont have any plans

 

I might get one or two small things, like clothes or wig supplies. I wish I was buying a doll though.
