1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Oh my god...Mercedes Lackey. *dies*

    2. This makes my day. . .totally. Wow. Must. Not. Make. Vanyel doll.

I have my own characters to create first.

    3. How lovely! I adore that picture! Your dolls look lovely!

Ruth Thompson, who does fantasy art, has met my Mike and likes him. Don't know however if she is into them!

    4. That is one heckuva collection *_*. Love the outfits in the photo, so pretty!

    5. Yes, the outfits are beautiful.

And I want a Vanyel doll. Because Vanyel needs hugs. Lots of hugs. That boy is way to lonely.

Ooh....! Brightstar! He'd be awesome as a doll! And Moondance, and....*dissolves into daydreams*

    6. sweet! eve is totally getting some trainie greys now! ^^ know i know i through my concepts somewhere in here *digs through patterns and clothing concepts*

    7. I don't even have dolls yet, but I can already see cosplay in their futures...

    8. I was wondring today whilst doing the ironing, as you do, that I have not heard of anyone famous or well known who is into the BJD world.

I know a while ago Kate Moss was doing knitting before she did catwalks and kept saying in interviews that it was a cool way to pass the time!! Maybe she should be introduced to BJD's!

      Just a thought!
      Cheers Carol x

      :?

    9. Oh wow I think she would make amazing looking dolls. LOL I am glad I am not the only one here who knows of her XD :D

    10. deja vu:o
its her lishe that got me hooked and made me do some research:)

    11. tch, how fleeting is fame...I nearly wore out my vinyl LP of 'Bella Donna' as a teen, and 'Dreams' is one of first songs I remember noticing on the radio and loving as a kid. I can still sing every lyric, word for word, note for note.

I bet some people might be surprised to discover her style, dating back to the 70's, predicts some of the popular ABJD fashions of today (platform boots and all!)

    12. Wow, Thalia?! AWESOME! I love her music, and my mom's a huuuge fan of her novelas.

YAY, ANDY! :aheartbea I used to be so scared of Chucky when I was little, I'd sworn off dolls bigger than Barbie when I was 4. I figured Barbies were small enough for me to fight off.

    13. we need to make an updated list.

maybe sometime when im bored ill go through and write down all the names

now now though i cant hold still that long =]

    14. i dunno if this has been braught up yet.
but recently my little sister came home with a SD sized Hannah Montanna doll.
i staired at it in shock thinking "oh god i hope its not a bjd!"
my sister has since tossed her aside and dosent want her..so ive kinda molded her into something non-hannah now.
but she came with a spiffy outfit and can also fit sd sized clothes.

what would be scarry tho, is MILEY CYRUS GITTING INTO BJD

oh dear god...that would just be horrible. i dont think anyone can side with me on that one? right? lol

and also what im a bit scared of is MATTEL saling bjds for way cheap and plastic.
like my little sister also baught one of the charactors from Hannah montanna, Oliver, only its the size of a regular barbie but is a BJD, joints and all. the only thing that cant be moved much is the hands and neck. but still it scares me that BJD as we know it might be soon to be sold as a cheap childs toy today. how very sad. i hope it dosent happen.

    15. How....how did I miss this?! Your books helped to shape my reading preferences for the past 10-15 years! And you're into BJDs too? *dies happily*

    16. Tony Ahn has a BJD! OMg. I always loved him <3

    17. Honestly, the first person that came to mind was Senny/Checkered-Fadora on DA (Being a DevArtist makes me think of 'famous' as 'DA famous' aha), Nolavon on here, but past that I dunno of any.

    18. I'd love to read the article... is there a link?

P.S. That totally makes you famous! Rock On!;)

    19. *massive fangirl moment* I can't wait to see what you will do with your Fennec Fox (I know Pipos makes a fox and it is so cute!) If it's from Pipos did you get a Robin or a Bao?

    20. Doll Factory! She's about the size of a Puki.
