anyone have BJD related tattoos?

Feb 12, 2007

    1. I wouldn't mind one of my dolls having the same tattoo as me. :) I think it'd be pretty neat, especially since I designed the tattoo myself. [IMG]
It'd be fun to put it on one of my dolls. :)
I guess it's not too BJD related though...but I would put it on one of them...
It's more Music and Art related :sweat

    2. I was thinking about getting a tatt of my first boy's initials somewhere..not too big but not small either. ^_^

    3. if you want to make a tattoo with it- please do :). the person who commissioned it won't mind, as I asked her about it. I would LOVE to see another of my works as a tattoo :)

    4. As a musician, I think that is really a lovely tattoo. <3 I hate most music tattoos because people tend to just get random notes or a treble clef, but that one is definitely individualized and interesting. The only time I think I would get a music tattoo is if I decided I really loved a specific piece of music, and then I would absolutely have to find an artist who understood music well enough to not put it on backward or get the notes on the wrong line or something. XP

    5. *snort* We're not dolls. We don't have WIGS. We have actual hair and that interferes with scalp tattooing. Girly would have to keep her head shaved for the tattoo to be seen, and I don't think that's worth the approval of one random doll owner ;)

    6. Nope, wouldn't do it. While I'm into tattoos, my (single, sad, lonely one and future planned ones) tats are all of a spiritual nature. BJDs aren't spiritual for me.

BUT. I would like to see someone with a dollfie portrait. :3

    7. I wouldn't mind a generic maybe vector-styled doll, or a faceless doll with long hair and bangs...or even a jointed-hand. Don't know where I'd put it though haha. Especially since I've got a bunch of other tattoos planned out for the future.

    8. I think it would be cool to get Doll eyes tattooed somewhere... I also have seen a picture of a girl who had the BJD joints done on her knees on the BME.

    9. I'd love to have a BJD tattoo, I just can't figure out what to have done. I need ideas :?

    10. I think the phrase is: YOU JUST GOT PWNED!

(Great point Ophelia, awesome tattoo Girly!) ;)

    11. woooot?? no comment to that one yet? X___x;;;
      i think that´s freakin stylish x3~~~~~

    12. I know that member 714 has a tattoo of her doll character Lude on her left upper arm, and that he has one of her, in the same pose. I'll ask her to take some photos :3

And, oh yeah, that SD plate tattoo is so badass!!

    13. Haha, brave people...I've been thinking that if I ever had to lose my hair/shave my head that I'd get a tattoo on my scalp, so maybe that would be a capital choice...

    14. Funny enough I don't. I have about a dozen anime tattoos but no BJD tats. I think I may need to change that. But I have to finnish the sleeve I've been working on for a year now first. Darn you dollies taking all my play funds away. I swear working on my tattoo will be my next big purchase (unless I find that body I need for Kisten at a good price first :sweat). Maybe I will use BJD's as the models for the goddess and god when I do my back mural, I was going to have my artist do them anime styled, but BJD's could be even more fun. Maybe I will take a doll with me for my next sitting. I think my tattoo artist would really like them.

    15. Re: the neck plate:
      That is SO COOL.
      SERIOUSLY.

If I ever lose my hair for some reason, or shave my head, I will be getting tattoos on my scalp anyhow, so a headplate would be neat. (Even though I will probably never own a doll that has one, just think of it.)

(Tangential. Totally tangential. I saw a pic of the coolest tattoo the other day, it was of The Corinthian from Sandman, eye-teeth and all, with his sunglasses pulled down grinning like a maniac, with a little pair of disembodied eyeballs in the border... sweet! I only thought of this because someone, possibly on DoA, has a ball joint doll of him. Adorable, in an absolutely terrifying way...)

    16. I officially pwned the thread. I got ball joints! based of DOD's only yesterday. But we added screws to make it look more old school. And yes I am My-Valium on DA. XD Yeah I think they are hardcore because your elbow is the most painful place to do. I was in agony. But you know I love my dolls XD

We could of done more but I was in alot of pain and swollen real bad. I'm all wrapped up in cling film at the moment I feel like someones going to post me to korea ^_^

    17. Nina Raven, you have officially joined the ranks of "Hardcore Doll owners Bat thinks are really cool"

That had to be really painful! But I think it's worth it. They look AWESOME!

    18. yay awsome! :)

Yeah it hurt alot more then I thought it would. Right on the funny bone too XD I'm glad you like them ^_^

    19. I'm considering a nude doll of my design.
      :3

    20. Girlytattoos: that's a great idea!!! I love how it looks =D

Nina Raven: when I first heard the idea of joint tattoos I was skeptical but yours are really cool!!! They look fantastic and you are so brave... I can only imagine how much a tattoo there would hurt...

as for me I really want a bjd tattoo... but I can't decide on what. I was thinking maybe an S hook on the back of my neck or a dollie portrait.. though I'm not sure what doll. Either way I have plenty of time to decide since my parents won't let me get a tattoo (they pulled the "I'm paying for your college therefore I own you" >.<) and I have to keep the two I already have hidden (such a hassle =/ I need to work up the courage to tell them) ah the awkward transition between adult and still needing your parents
