Are all your dolls from one company?

I own dolls from different companies. Here are the companies and how many dolls I own made by them:

Dollzone 2
Volks 3
Doll in Mind 1
Migidoll 1
B&G 3 (still waiting for 2 of them)

So I have some favorite companies but I'd order from every possible company if I liked a certain sculpt

I definitely love variety and I'm not particularly conscious about whether dolls in my collection will match each other. My first doll was a DOD probably because at the time DOD was the only BJD company I knew, lol! But I don't regret buying from them, not at all. My first was a Tender Shall (60cm) in white skin. My second doll is from Souldoll, a 45cm apricot-skinned boy. My third doll will be from angell-studio, a 70cm tanned boy. He's currently on layaway. My third doll will most likely be an Immortality of Soul head and a body from somewhere else. My dolls probably won't match each other, but I don't really care.

I haven't planned beyond the IOS head but I'll probably toss in a Soom and a Volks into my collection somewhere along the way. ^_^ And of course, an Iplehouse. If I had all the money in the world I'd buy at least one doll from every company (see my lengthy wishlist )

 

So far, yes, although I doubt that will be the case once I get my second, third, fourth...

I don't have any dolls yet, but the ones I want are all from different companies. I haven't really found a company with a large number of dolls I like. However, that is subject to change.

 

I have 2 from Fairyland, 1 head from Luts (which I'm thinking of selling) and 1Luts head with Volks DD2-body (which I'm also thinking of selling). I'm about to have one Dollzone (which will be modded harshly.) But I love Fairylands, and I wouldnt be suprised if one day I'd have only FL:s :p

Edit: oh, and I do have SOOM Beryls hooves, which I will sell away soon xD

 

No, because there are no companies where I like every mold. In fact, out of the six I'm planning, the one on his way and the girl I already have, only two are from the same company which is Souldoll.

They're probably my most-loved company at the moment, but I'm stratigically avoiding Soom because I have a lot planned already and I don't need the temptation of $600+ dolls. Purely because once I fall in love with a mold it gets permanently added to the waiting list and I don't think my bank account could handle it

 

Gosh, I don't think I could ever be a doll purist. All of mine so far are from FairyLand, but I'd like to purchase something from Soom and Luts at some point. It would also be fun to have different doll models at different sizes so you don't end up getting a bunch of the same height or facial expressions.

 

i love cp dolls, mainly minifee, but i could never have just cp. most of my dolls will be, but i'm also planning from dollmore and crobidoll.

 

I'm always afraid I'm going to come off as brand loyal but I can't help that I fell in love with custom house dolls. I found my first on ebay and that was great because I didn't want to pay so much for shipping and wait and she came with a wig and stuff. And then of course the sales... my parents bought me my incoming pair for a christmas gift only because they were a good deal. xD I would have got them eventually anyway. ...somehow. I'm just glad they could come together since they're twins.
But I digress- Yes, I have only dolls from one company but I plan to spread out to Fairyland (of course), Iplehouse, Lati, and Luts.

 

Yes!! All of my dolls are CP / LUTS dolls =w=

I was actually pretty subconcious that all my dolls happened to be from the same company. It's just that... CP always make the molds that I fall in love with ^^;;

 

My dolls are mixture of different companies.. Though, according to my friends, my dolls hv similar traits. I do admit I really like a particular style of mold, however I do consider on the quality control of the doll company.

I currently own a healthy mixture of dolls from different companies, such as Dollmore, Luts/CP, Customhouse, Peakswood, Latidoll, Volks, Leeke and K-doll.

 

All of my dollies are Volks. And they probably all will be Volks. But that is not to say I think Volks is the only 'true' doll company.

 

I have a mix. I have dolls from, at this point in time, eight (8) different companies. Cerberus Project (mostly from Fairyland) is, of course, the most prominent in my collection, but I don't plan on it continuing to be.

I have plans that include dolls from six (6) more different companies, waffling on a couple from several more, and who knows what other companies will produce dolls I'll fall in love with in the future?

I won't deny that I have a company that seems like my favourite, but I wouldn't be able to restrict myself to just the one. After awhile they all start to look similar.

I'm not very diverse. I did own a Volks once though and although I really liked her face, I had problems with having no torso joint in the body... Maybe if I can find another Volks, it'd be cool but I'm really more of a CP-type girl. =)

 

My only doll is from Volks, but I have my eye on dolls from Dragon Doll and Custom House, I could never choose just one company.
