1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Are all your dolls from one company?

Sep 21, 2009

    1. Nope!

I've got a B&G doll, a K-Doll hybrid and two Souldolls. I tend not to stick to only one company.

    2. I like variety so I have a Doll Chateau, Doll Zone, Domuya, Fantasydoll, Dollfactory, Sleeping Elf, and elfiNDOLL. I'm pretty much open to any company if I like the sculpt!:)

    3. I first started out with Delf CP from Luts. I have 5 of them plus a few floating heads and a MNF from Luts site. I have one Soom, and one Resinsoul. I like dolls I am attracted to by face, but the body design is the staying power (its movement and standability etc). I could not just keep to one company. I like diversity. On my wishlist is Iplehouse, Dollshe, and Fairyland.

    4. Mine are from Fairyland, Volks, Luts, Soom and Resinsoul. Infact my next doll I want is probably Iplehouse. I love different sculpts from different company :D

    5. My first two dolls are from Luts, but the third that's on her way is from Souldoll. And I'm fixing on ordering a yo sized from Resin Soul when I get paid. ^_^

    6. It was fun to look back at the beginning of this thread and read my initial response on page 5 (from 3 years ago) about keeping all my dolls from different companies to reflect the natural diversity of a neighborhood. While my doll characters have remained in that same fictional neighborhood and many are indeed from different companies, multiples have more recently come from Resinsoul as my collection has evolved over time. I have single dolls from DIM, Dollzone, Dollmore, Luts, Fairyland and Lati. But then I fell in love with the notion of Monster High (love the books!) so I've really had fun creating original monster high characters in resin form (and Resinsoul offers really cute sculpts in different colors!);) And you know you need several because...well...they need to represent a highschool clique afterall.

    7. All of mine are different. Volks, iplehouse, soom, and dikadoll so far.

    8. Nah, I opt for producer diversity. I like patronizing different companies and supporting their business of producing unique dolls. It adds an air of destinction and variety. And from an aesthetic point of view, I can't stand dolls with the same bodies. It just doesn't look realistic to me, personally. I have a Kid Delf Cherry girl, a floating Lusis plate (soon to be united with a SoulDoll girl body), and plan on acquiring my friend's floating Soom Beyla head and creating a hybrid with it.

    9. I really believe that all migidoll molds are perfect, but in spite of this fact I want to collect dolls from other companies too. I like diversity and find it interesting to combine things that for the first look seem too different.

    10. I have dolls from a variety of companies plus a few hybrids - Volks, Luts, Leeke, DOD, Peaks Wood, Latidoll, DIM, Muse Doll, Bambicrony, Cherish Doll, Dika Doll, Switch, Or doll, Nyx, Sweet Gale, Doll Leaves, AOD, LoongSoul Doll, Dolkot, Cherry Castle, Custom House/Ai doll, Fairyland, Piposdoll, DollnDoll, Dollzone, Migidoll, Crobidoll, Souldoll, SOOM, Asleep Eidolon, Dollmore, Doll Love, Little Monica, SQLab and waiting for a girl from Present Doll and one from Aria doll.

I think that's about it... for now... :sweat

    11. Nope. Two of them are from Luts and one is from Volks. And I'm still looking for dolls from other companies.

    12. So far yes, but that will be changing before too long.

    13. Nope, I like many different sculpts form many different companies. However, Soom dominates my collection and probably will for awhile. Migidoll is high on my list as well. I have plans for two more at the minimum, but would love to have them all ^_^

    14. Here we had every type of dolls : Tinies like Puki, YoSD, MSD, SD and SSD.
And they come from different companies like DOD, Fairyland, Alchemic Labo, Soom, Neo AngelRegion, IpleHouse, Volks, Dust of Dolls and soon Cerisedoll =3

    15. Nope!

I love dolls throughout the spectrum of companies, so I could never see myself being restricted to one. I have two from 5stardoll who only cost me $260 total thanks to the Christmas event, but then I also have a Soom who alone cost me $760. xD I have no restrictions price-wise and I like a lot of different styles, from fantasy dolls to much less elaborate human dolls like my simple Tinyfairy. Company loyalty is fine, but I am more concerned about finding the perfect sculpts for what I picture in my head and I think there are too many good companies out there to buy from just one. ^^

    16. I have 6 full dolls and 2 heads currently at home: 2 full dolls are DOLLSHEs and 2 more full dolls are ARIA DOLLs. I also have 2 more full ARIA DOLLs on the way.

If I find a company that I like, I do go back for more, but that won't stop me from trying out other companies.

    17. I keep getting drawn back to doll leaves for doll sculpts, I seem to like almost every face they have while other companies I'll only like one or two. I'm trying to decide on another doll as we speak and I keep wanting to get another doll leaves!

    18. So far seven companies...........what will the new year 2012 bring?

      Resinsoul

      Iplehouse

So far six companies...........what will the new year 2010 bring?

      AOD
      Dollshe

So far mostly Iplehouse. add to that Dollmore, Souldoll, Elfdoll,

    19. Unknowingly, all three dolls of mine are from Luts! 8D
Well, except for my first doll which is a hybrid of a Luts 2009 head with an AoD male body. But I guess that kinda counts! xD The other two is a Kid Delf Aru & a Delf Lu-Wen. :3

And I'm thinking of getting a JDF Terra! Hahahaha, I need to explore more companies. xD

    20. I'll only buy from Fairyland. I just don't love any other molds enough to spend that much money on them.
