1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Are all your dolls from one company?

Sep 21, 2009

    1. Nope.

I've got dolls from variety of different companies. If you look on my profile you can see the whole list. What company the doll comes from is secondary to it's looks and character fit.

    2. old post, but yes- I have a thing for fairyland and have another thing for kaye wiggs but now I am having a new thing for diversity. I would have so many if I could afford it and if I came across these dolls before they ran out!!! (my faves are always sold out) But I know that I don't like big boobs on my dolls- so that helps.

    3. 3 of 7 are. They are my Souldolls. I can't help myself. Added, I'm planning for at least 2 more. It's my addiction! I can't stop. My others: Doll Zone, DreamingDoll, Migi Doll, and Minimee.

    4. Only two are from the same company ^^ I certainly like some companies more than others but I want a bunch of dolls from a variety of different companies :P

    5. yes they are. It was an accident I just really enjoy AOD dolls. they are so pretty. didn't even know they had Yo-Sd size then I had to have one.

    6. I own an Only-Doll, Dream of Doll, and Island Doll. As long as I like a mold, you are mine! Fuahahaha!
I think it's silly to think that Volks is the only true bjd company or hating Volks cause of it. You can't monopolize something that's existed since B.C. times. That's like monopolizing water. -w-

    7. Most of my dolls are from Soom. However in the last 2 years I started collecting from Unoa, not doll, Msdoll. As long as I like the sculpt I will get it. XD

    8. I got 6 from 4 different companies. I have one Crobidoll, one Little Monica, One Angelheim and three volks.

    9. so far no ... i have an islanddoll and a resinsoul (in transit)

    10. All my dolls are from soom except one. I plan to get another soom doll next too, I can't help it i just love them <3

    11. At the moment all of my dolls are from luts (and I've got more luts dolls on my wish list...) but some day I'll get dolls from other companies as well c:

    12. I actually own 11 dolls and they are from different companies: Angelregion, Luts, Dolkot, Crobidoll, Dollzone, Fairyland, Ariadoll and Little Monica.
I really like the differences in height or body sculpt and they also wear different styles of clothing, the only thing that makes them similar is that they haven't very realistic features 'cause I prefer classical Volks-like dolls!

    13. I've used three different companies but I love Iplehouse so everything is being reshelled to them, apart from my Super Gem.

    14. All my own dolls are from Soom at the moment but it was more by chance, and because I love the fantasy style from them the most over other companies! I'm a sucker for anything combined with animals ;) I do have plans to buy from other companies, but what with soom having limiteds they tend to get to my pockets first *flails*

    15. All my dolls come from different companies. I have some soom, ringdoll, leekeworld, dragondoll, DOD etc.

    16. Kinda... not all of them are from only one company, but I own 10 dolls (or rather eight dolls plus two rolling heads) from three different companies.
4 from Fairyland, 4 from Soom and 2 from Withdoll. I like their style alot and the ywere just right for the characters. or I just liked the mold enough to just want it and then found a character for it ^^°

I plan on getting at least two (more likely three) dolls from different companies at this point, if I manage to save some money again. If I like the mold and the body/find a decent match to make a hybrid I really don't care from which company I buy. But then again: of course if I search for a perfect incarnation for a character I will rather try the companies whos style I like best first. Also I adore alot of Sculpts I will possibly never own because they would never be fitting for any character I'd invent.

    17. All three of my dolls are from different companies, but I'm drawn to the Peakswoods girls. If I had more disposable income for dollies, I'd most certainly have about two or three more PW ladies.

I'm happy with only one Unoa and one Lati :)

    18. I'm too picky. My goal is to start branching out into other companies and styles. Right now I have 3 full fairyland dolls + 3 floating heads, with plans for more FL dolls plus bodies for the heads, so they generally speaking have my "brand loyalty". I have a Luts anthro and Iple JID too. I admire lots of other dolls, but often they just don't seem like they'd fit in here or I just like to look at them (Soom limiteds, for example; would never buy them, but love to look at them).

    19. Heck no!
I hate not having a window of options.

    20. I have had dolls from many companies, but I always go back to one company and it seems like ones that I get from outside my favorite company I end up not liking them as much and they get rehomed :(
