1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Are all your dolls from one company?

Sep 21, 2009

1. I find the "Volks snob" stereotype pretty funny, because it doesn't apply to me. My first girl is from Volks, but I've been adopting from an assortment of companies. My current favorites are Luts, Latidoll, and of course, Volks. A majority of my wishlist is actually from Luts. XD

As for adopting, I'm not too picky about the brand, as long as the aesthetic appeals to me. I've got a little CustomHouse/Ai Dolls girl in my adoption list, and a stray IpleHouse S.I.D. For the most part, I'm into dolls that are "full-bodied" so I don't really have any issues regarding the size-matching. :P

I don't consider any company as "better" than another. Certain companies do aim to appeal to a certain market, and while I may not find another company's sculpts attractive, I can understand how they may look good to someone else with different aesthetic preferences.

2. My dolls are from iXTEE, LaTi and Takara. I'm sure this list is going to grow over time though!

3. I actually own 7 dolls and they are from different companies. (Angell-Studio, Piposland, Soom, Luts, Alchemic-Labo, Dream of Doll, Doll-Leaves) I want an Island doll and Lati and maybe more again various. I likee comparing various resins, colors of skin, sizes...

4. I buy from different companies but I also have a specific aesthetic I like so it's mostly narrowed down to a few: Iplehouse, Elfdoll, Souldoll, Angelsdoll. There's also an anthro I have from Pipos and a few bodies from different companies but those four are the companies I look to first when I am looking for a new doll.

5. Yes, as you can see through my signature. x_______x;; It's not that I don't love other dolls. I have owned Fairyland and DOD dolls before, but every time I'm about to buy another company's doll, Soom releases at least one new doll I can't pass up! Then I can't afford the original doll anymore. XD

6. I have a number of ResinSoul dolls, but I also have dolls from other companies too, as you can see in my signature. :)

7. I have dolls from many different companies, Dolltown, Lati, Kaye Wiggs, Fairyland, Irrealdoll, to name a few...the collection keeps expanding.

8. I currently have 4 dolls and they are all from different companies. When I chose a doll it is because there is something about her/him that "speaks to me", for lack of a better term. :sweat

I'm not picky about brands or anything, if the overall esthetic pleases me then I'm buying it. Although my taste changed with the years, so that may have contributed to me buying from different companies each time (my first boy is very anime looking, with large eyes, while my latest boy is a EID Chase).

9. My wishlist is all-around a mix of companies. Though I do find myself going to Souldoll a lot to look at their dolls.

10. I have only once got two dolls from the same company (Dollzone) but I ended up selling the other one. I don't think I will ever have dolls from only one company because I already have dolls from many different company (+hybrids where body and head are from different shop). ^^'

11. at this time I only have one doll and all of her is from the same company
but yes, all the dolls on my wishlist (at this time) are from the same company (and technically all the same sculpt too)
it's not that I don't like other company's dolls, I think that there are a lot of beautiful dolls out there from other companies, but I just really really love VOLKS F-01 (Megu specifically)

12. Yes! for now they are all Alchemic Labo

13. Currently, yes, all my dolls are from Volks. I have had other dolls from other companies but they have since been sold as A) I don't bond well with 45cm size as well as I wish plus I love male dolls, but owning them doesn't work out. B) I fell out of love with my Delf and had the chance to get a Volks Rose who was one of my wishlist girls. But I really enjoy Volks' dolls as they have the Dollfie Dream line and their dolls are just really eye catching to me. I love Soom dolls since I'm a big fantasy fan, but like male dolls, owning one probably wouldn't work out. Same with Blue Fairy since a lot of their dolls are 45cm or smaller.

14. No, none of mine are from the same place. Jaida is a Dollzone, Joel is a Leekeworld and Bella is a Fairyland.

15. Half of mine are! They're the same mold, even. Bambicrony Emily, my love. ♥ But the other half are all from different companies: Supia, Leekeworld and Migidoll. Domuya and Dollzone too, if we're counting the bodies of the hybrids.

16. I'm the keeper of a merry mix. XD;

1 Doll-Zone Floy, 1 Doll-Leaves Noir, 1 HZ GuHu, 1 Doll-Zone YUU-2(meaning I have two D-Z boys), 1 Illusion Spirit ZengHuang, 1 5StarDoll Nigel, 1 Dream of Doll Azera, and yet to be shipped out are 1 IpleHouse Mari and 1 Crobidolls Rumi.

And I also made arrangements to buy someone's Soom Lami. >w<

17. Well, I only have two, but they're from different companies. I have a LUTS and an HZ. I'm saving for an Iplehouse. Bottom line: I personally love to have a mix of different dolls from different companies! :)

18. Not all but more than 50% are from the same company - Volks
Then it is Mr DS
Then it is Soom
Then it is Bluefairy and Luts
Then artist doll

19. well, considering I only have one doll, yes they all are from the same company! XD I love my pipos charlotte and would definitely buy from pipos again, but recently I've decided my next doll will be a souldoll :) I guess it all depends on personal preference, if you like the scuplts of one company and any other company just doesn't feel right to you, then you might only have dolls from that one company. but if you like a variety, then you'll probably have dolls from different companies. there's nothing wrong with either i think :)

20. no，they are from different companies XD
