1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Are all your dolls from one company?

Sep 21, 2009

    1. No way, I could never limit myself to just one company!

    2. At first it seemed like I only wanted Illusion Spirit's, but since then I have reached out more. I bought two Dollzones, which I adored but sold, a Dikadoll, Doll Chateau...

And so many plans for Dream of Doll, Luts, Migidoll etc. XD I could not imagine just getting ONE company forever. oxo

    3. Most of my dolls are all Fairyland designs. The only exception is an Iplehouse SID, and I might get other Iple dolls in the future. I've just always favored the CP/Fairyland dolls, there is something about their design that has always been beautiful to me.

    4. I too am a FairyLand fan, with 3 pukipuki's and 2 Little Fee's; I'm also getting my first Delf soon. Not sure just how different a company that makes it, as Luts and FL were once-upon-a-time the same company.

    5. I have 4 dolls so far and I'm waiting for two more, so when they arrive I'll have 2 LUTS dolls, 2 SOOM dolls, an Islanddoll and a Migidoll, so I have a mix from 4 different companies at the moment, but I must admit that LUTS is my favorite company, because I think their dolls are just so beautiful and adorable! I really love their Kid Delf dolls! And MSD is the size I'm most fond of, to me the SDs are a little too big for me. x3 <3

And I don't choose my dolls depending on how much money I have, I choose the ones I think looks great, are adorable etc., but mostly.. The ones I think I can make a character out of, and not just a random doll that stands on my shelf. I like to buy 2nd hand dolls though, because I save some money, but mostly it's dolls I've already considered buying.
Out of the (soon) 6 dolls I have, 4 of them are 2nd hand. I'm the 2nd or 3rd owner, so for me it's not really the price, it's if I like the doll or not :3

    6. I actually really only want to buy one doll from each company. I won't buy a repeat body. If I do like two heads from the same company I would probably buy the head and put it on a different body. I don't want to buy the same thing twice, with different heads. For the money I'm paying I want to see something new! Also, everyone's body in the real world is different so I want all my doll's bodies to be individual and have subtle differences.

    7. Hmmm, currently I only have a doll from D.o.D. plus a head ... I've yet to branch out & I don't know if I will. So I guess, it's from "one" company. I have taken a gander at other companies but Volks is unaffordable for me even now & somehow, the DoD dolls seem to grab at me more than others.

    8. I have a mix-- I was biased towards luts's CP produced molds for a long time and they still have a hold on me but I have since branched out to other companies and Don't choose to stick to just one~

    9. well i can say yes because i only have one doll XD technically i dont even have her yet, she is currently in the mail, my little luts tiny delf dorothy <3

    10. I look for the doll I like not which company they are from. That being said I do have 3 Ringdoll grown boys in my crew as I find them unbelievably gorgeous. I find some companies dolls just appeal to me more than others. It's nice having a mixture though as I like the variation.

    11. I have only one doll and it's the Iplehouse doll. But the next one I would like to have is a Realpuki by Fairyland. I suppose it only depends of real passion to some doll ) and a company doesn't matter )

    12. Nope, I have a Pullip, Byul (same company), a Hujoo Freya Cat and a PKF on the way.

    13. I've always found myself to be extremely picky, so I have to look at everything available to find things I like. = v = I've got an Island Doll, Doll Family H, jointed hands from Illusion Spirit, a head from migidoll, a head from dikadoll, the migidoll head is going to have a body from f-doll... And might be making a Doll Chateau Hybrid this summer. I just can't stick to one company. o v o There's far too much to choose from.

    14. While their are several sculpts from the same companies that I really love, I'm more likely to buy the doll off my wish list that is from a company I haven't bought from yet, just because I always want to try something new. I do have three BBB/RS dolls but each one has a different body, so it's almost like a different doll entirely. I don't think I would ever limit myself to one company since there are so many to choose from.

    15. I wish I could limit to just one company - and I guess if I did, it would probably be DollClans, IOS, Granado or Iplehouse. But all of my dolls are from different companies. In the growing brood: BlueBlood Doll, Granado, IOS, DollClans, Switch.

I have a wishlist of companies that I want to purchase a doll from because I like their particular aesthetic. I like diversity in my dolls and really want a mixed crew and to support independent artists and small shops. I think it's really hard to get that diversity in a single shop. But I have a hefty wishlist of companies I'd like to get a doll from but it's going to have to remain a wishlist....I think...maybe...lol

    16. Nope! They're from Volks, Hujoo and Fairyland. And I'll eventually have some from Dollfactory, Planetdoll, Iplehouse and hopefully Cerisedolls. I don't want all my dolls to look the same or even similar.

    17. For some odd reason I do tend to stick within one brand. My 'I love you but will never actually buy you' wishlist comes from Iplehouse: Carina, Eva, and Akando. But all the dolls I have on my actual wishlist seem to be Dollzone! I like having them all 'match' in style.

    18. Hummm am I eletest if I say only 2, Iplehouse & Fairyland, but I am trying to look for other dolls, but Iple do it so beautifully I find it difficult to look away! *_*

    19. I started with Iplehouse (SID, nYID, EID), then as I started thinking about smaller sizes I shifted to FairyLand (realpukis, Minifee)

When I research I use google.. not a specific company.. till I see a face I LOVE that is when I find out the about the company

    20. Six companies and 10 out of 17 belong to iplehouse. I like what I like. I guess.
