Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.       5 Iplhouse (it is difficult to buy only one or 2 of these)

Nope, in fact it's quite strange but I usually can't find more than a sculpt I love from the same company xD I thought I was the strange one because a lot of you have preferred companies and buy lots only from that company, but in this thread I can see that it is normal and I do not have to go to a psychiatrist xD

      At this moment, mine are 1 SoulDoll, 1 Bimong hybrid and 1 DollsBe.

      With that being said, some time ago I kind of decided I wouldn't own more than one from each company. Besides being my own preference, I like to think about it like a limitation.

    4. Absolutely not ! I currently have a Luts head on a Bobobie body, an AL Unoa Sist head on a Resinsoul body, a Doll Chateau head on a Dollzone body, and a Doll Chateau Russell. As you can see I manily have hybrids xD
      Even though I love Dollzone and Doll Chateau, there's a lot of other dolls I really want my hands on. I like having dolls of different sizes and aesthetics !

    5. Nope, currently I have one Souldoll and a Little Monica which is not home yet but being paid already. I'm planning on purchasing a Doll Chateau body for my Souldoll and will do that once they announce their spring event. I'd also like to have a Shinydoll and a Dollzone some day.

      As you can see I'm not faithful to any company and I enjoy having different kind of aesthetics in my collection. Maybe some day I start to prefer one company over another but I haven't found that company yet. When I ordered my first doll I was sure I'd only buy Souldolls in the future but then they discontinued all the bodies that I like. It kind of drove me to try different companies which is not so bad thing when I think about it now. ^^

    6. No and yes. Most of them are Soom boys but I also collect dolls from other companies. I have two Ringdoll, one Angelheim and one Supia. I'm planning to add my first Volks into the family but this plan may have to wait until I'm financially stable enough to take care of one more doll.

    8. The vast majority are fairyland and unoa. I do also have a soon tiny and a mushroom peddler willow. I guess I prefer the fairyland asthetic and from all the other bodies I have dealt with, they pose the best.

      While I definitely have my preferences (Volks), there are just too many beautiful dolls out there from other companies. I've owned many dolls & only a fraction were Volks. I'm about to bring home an Unoa Sist & will be bringing home a Feeple65 Chloe for my husband for Valentine's Day... then hopefully a Dollfie Dream for myself! 50/50 isn't too bad, right?

    10. There are some companies that make me want all of their sculpts, but so far I have a variety. Somewhere along the way I decided that I don't want to have two of the same body... which is a problem since I have twins coming in a few months and have to find a body for the second one. :sweat I have two Crobidolls and two Souldolls, though. But for those, one is an SD and one is an MSD, so I don't feel like I'm violating my aesthetic. There's just so much variety in the BJD world that I want to collect as much of it as I can!

    11. No, I cannot find a company who would produce all the sculpts that I like. Moreover, I have one hybrid now, and there are to be two more hybrids, and all of the parts are from different companies. I'm trying to find a unique body for each doll, which would suite it best:)

    15. No, but liking one will make me look closer at others from the same company. I have an SD on order from Mirodoll and if I like her enough I'll be saving up for another. (I want Mika - her new photos pushed me from probably to definitely - but it seems silly to place a second order before I know how I feel about their dolls)

    16. I don't quite understand the appeal of getting dolls from only one company.
      My dolls were all from different companies: Doll in Mind, Asleep Eidolon, Leekeworld.
      All the dolls on my wishlist are from different companies, too. I like trying out new things!

      • And eyes from souldoll
      I currently have one doll, one head and one body on order from resinsoul and impldoll. And I have a long wish list too.

      Originally I thought I might only order from one company but the more I looked the more sculpts and companies I liked. :lol:
