  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       On the way: Youpla Dolls (1)
      On layaway: None currently
      On wishlist (in order of level of waaant): BeYours (1), many more Volks, Peakswoods (probably many), LUTS (many), Supia (1), SQLabs (a few heads), SmartDoll (1)

      So in conclusion... Volks is definitely my favorite company, but I like to have a variety.

    2. Well, since I only have one doll currently, yes. And I've been shopping for a second and it's hard not to order from the same company, I love them. But I think I really want to try a different doll, just because I've never seen any doll in person, but my own... I would want to know if I like posabilty and engineering from a different brand. So, I love Iplehouse, but I've been staring at aTwigling lately. :)

    3. Oh absolutely not!
      My first one was a Mystic Kids Lillian.
      My second one was a Dolli-pop Luna, and it was with this doll did I realize I have more of a thing for YosD than MSD.
      I currently have two other dolls on the way (one's off topic and the other is from Sugarble).
      I am also currently on a short layaway for a secondhand Dust of Dolls Zouh Spun.

      I definitely have more of a thing for the more imaginary sculpts, but I don't really have a favorite per say (although Dust of Dolls is my grail and I can't believe I'm getting one so soon!). I would buy from any of these companies again though. :blush

    5. No, my dolls I currently have and the ones I have planned are all from different companies. I like the variety of dolls from different companies and it's kind of a mini goal for me to have dolls from a few of my favourite companies :)
      I have a Dollzone, Ringdoll and Souldoll floating head so far :D

    6. Definitely not, hah. I have a two hybrids, and I think I've yet to buy two dolls from the same company. So far, I have Migidoll, Oasisdoll, BeYours, and now Volks. I've owned (and sold) a Dream of Doll, Dollzone, and Kanadoll. I'd love to get another Migidoll or Oasisdoll, though.

    7. I realized I replied to this originally in 2009... my collection has since become rather heavy in CP/FairyLand sculpts, but I still have multiple companies in there. At the time I originally answered, I would have had seven companies. Currently (seven years later), I have 19, or 20 if you count CP/FairyLand, CP/Luts and Luts as three different companies. There's definitely a few repeats (especially the FL dolls, currently numbering 16), and more than a few companies where I picked one up on a whim, then went back because I loved their work. I don't think I could easily go either with every doll from a different company, or with all from the same one, though, any more now than I could back then.

    8. I don't plan on it, no! There are too many pretty sculpts from so many different companies I would have a hard time only getting dolls from just one. There are some companies that I would like to get multiple sculpts from, but I definitely don't want all my dolls to be from the same one.

    10. Every doll in my active doll family (meaning, I'm not counting bits I'm selling) is from a different company. Sometimes I have some overlaps but generally speaking I love variety! <3

    12. Currently the two dolls I've purchased so far are both from Fairyland, and the next doll I purchase will also most likely be from Fairyland... But the doll I would consider my "Holy Grail" is from Luts, and I very much would like an Iplehouse doll at some point because they have such lovely sculpts.

    13. Right now I got a mix:

      1 Doll Chateau
      1 Dollzone (and another one on the way)
      1 Doll Leaves
      1 Island Doll

      I feel though as if I am almost stuck with Dollzone >.< . I just love their bodies (my bodies gotta have knee and elbow caps - except for Doll Chateaus) and find it incredibly hard to find bodies from other companies that I like. I am totally in love with Ringdoll Norman (the body & the head), but the size scares me off - I'd rather not go beyond SD size. LoongSoul is another company where I really like the 70+ sculpts (male) - but that's just too big. I do also adore the LoongSoul MSD girl body B-G42-03 but I don't want more MSDs for now >.< . Of course the head sculpt needs to strike my fancy too and while I love the Dollzone female bodies, I am not too much into the female face sculpts they currently have. And while I do like the idea of being able to make a hybrid I also like consistency - i.e. ideally one doll from the same company, rather than the head from X and the body from Y. There are some companies with amazing head sculpts where the body is just not my thing, so I guess sooner or later I will end up with one or more hybrids xD.

      My current rundown is:

      3 fairyland + 4 heads
      3 volks + 1 head
      3 doll chateau
      1 crobidoll
      1 dollzone + 1 head
      1 dust of dolls + 1 faceplate
      1 scdoll + 1 head
      1 paper sakura
      1 plasticmoon
      1 soom
      1 unoa (4 faceplates)
      1 harucasting
      1 immortality of soul
      1 irrealdoll

      Not sure what this says about me, but fairyland, although the most-populated group around here are definitely not my favorite bunch. That would be my Dollzone/Doll Chateau group :3

    15. Nope! Johnny's an Angel of Dream, Alistair's a Dream of Doll, and I plan on getting dolls from Xaga Doll, Bobobie, and Resinsoul in the near future. If I were to buy a second doll from any of the aforementioned companies, it would most likely be Dream of Doll. I love the aesthetic of their products.

    19. Sort of. I only have two dolls. All of Avian and Carina's head are from Bobobie but Carina's body is from Resinsoul. Their sister companies though so I'm not sure if it counts or not. I'll probably get some from different company's in the future.
