Are all your dolls from one company?

Are all your dolls from the same, favorite company? Or do you have a mix?

So far, all my dolls bar one have come from Soom. I have a Cuprit, a Chrom, a Cass, an Amber (on layaway at the moment), and miscellaneous fantasy body parts from various MDs.

My 'odd one out' is a Pipos Cheshire, who's eventually going to get some friends from his company (a Dali and a Bao).

I'm also eventually planning on getting some Iplehouse dolls, because their YIDs (or possibly JIDs, I always forget which is which ) make perfectly in-scaled preteens with my Soom SGs.

For me, it's convenient buying multiple dolls from one company, because I'm very obsessive about dolls having similar aesthetics to each other. Buying all my adult dolls from Soom means that I know I can pose my dolls together without them being out of scale. It also means that they can swap parts, which is handy with all my MD parts.

I also get sucked into buying Soom before any other company because of their MDs. Everything else I want is unlimited and fairly common, so there's not the same pressure to get them right away. With Soom MDs, I have to either get them right away, or prepare myself for paying second-hand prices for them.

 

I only have Bobobie dollies. lol. I haven't seen any other company I like as much as bobobie. I guess I'm pretty plain.

 

I currently have 4 dolls and 1 on the way, so when she comes I'll have 2.5 luts dolls and 2.5 volks ^^

 

First of all, I do not think people need to be "broke" to own DZ dolls.

Well, my dolls have kind of been from one company because I've only owned them one at a time. When I had my Rosette Doll I only had her, and now that I have a Volks I only have her. In aggregate, though, I haven't bought exclusively from one company.

 

No, mine are from a variety of different companies. I would never be able to have them all from the same company because there are some which I'm not as keen on. I really love Volks and particularly Dream of Doll and I would happily have just the majority of my dolls being DoD, but at the same time I really wouldn't want to be without my IP Tatiana, my minimees, my AS BJDs etc.

 

So far all the dolls I have are by the same company as their work appeals to me the most, that being Soom as I really love the sculpting of their faces and hands. I have a Sabik, a Heliot and a Cuprit and certainly lust after many of their other sculpts that I hope to eventually add to my collection.

I am also drawn to the larger Iplehouse dolls and eventually would like to get several of them as I especilly love Luo, Jessicka and Chase.

 

Aaall mixed. I currently have 2 floating heads from migidoll, 1 floating head from luts, another migi head (miho) on a Delf body and a Limhwa Limho Mono. There are just too many great companies imho to just buy from one. Next on my list are Soom and DOD for example. But this might take a while x]

 

Not all, no. I have a wide range. But... I do have quite the group from Iple House.

Currently all my dolls are from Iplehouse and I only plan to buy from them in the future. I admire many other companies and their dolls, but to me Iplehouse just has the most realistic looking dolls. Most other dolls look more like anime characters than real people. There's not anything wrong with that, but to me Iplehouse dolls just have a certain aesthetic that fits what I admire. I've also have a good experience buying from their company. I never seriously consider buying a doll from another company.

 

I have 2 dolls.
The MSD is a Kid Delf Bory from LUTS aaand I have an SD-SDF Annette head from LUTS, currently waiting on her body from ResinSoul.

I quite like most of LUTS dolls/molds, some other company's dolls appeal to me, but not most of their molds like LUTS do. I guess you could say that my favorite company is LUTS, but I have favorite dolls/molds from other companies. ^^

 

Oh heck no. I am too curious and too much of a "bring home strays" type to stay with just one company.

Let's see if I can figure out what companies... (if I try to COUNT them I'll get too depressed because I have too. many. dollz.) Some of this is just parts (either a head or a body...)

There are certain companies where I'd buy all the dolls they sell if I had the money, but I'd still go back and buy from other companies as well. I love diversity- and I don't even want all my dolls to be the same colour XD (a good mix of different tans and normals should do nicely ^__^) but that's just me...

At the moment, my gang is pretty 'rainbows of the world' with one Bobobie NS, one Tan Planetdoll girl, one NS Unoa boy, two Lati heads, and a shiwoo...

 

I love my Dollstown girls and also Unoa's! Still new at collecting BJD's so I'm sure my choices will grow!

 

hehe, nope, I got two from the same company, 2 Abio Angel Yi's cause I love the mold, one Iplehouse, one Angel of Dream, one Zaoll, and a Rosette (sister company to soom).. although if i had the money, i would have a lot more sooms..

So far, yes all mine are Elfdoll but I am just a beginner and am interested in seeing what else is out there. : )

 

I only have the one doll. But I don't plan on ordering another doll from Angel of Dream. If I do get a second doll, it'd probably be from Dream of Doll.

 

I can't imagine I will ever have them all from one company, but I used to lean heavily towards Luts dolls, but this year it seems to have swung, I have sold a lot of my older sculpt Luts dolls (big head ones) and replaced most of them. This year seems to be the year of DoCs and Dollmore dolls for me, bringing in three DoCs and so far three Dollmore dolls to add to the one Dollmore doll I had already...and when I say this year I guess I now mean last year

I have plans to buy from other companies, such as Fairyland, Narin Creative and maybe even Rosette doll, but since I first found my intense love for unoas, I have sort of stuck to getting them first as they're the ones I have the most want for.

In the past I've owned Luts, Bambicrony, Elfdoll, Dollmore and Fairyland, but those dolls have moved on for different reasons :3
