1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Are your dolls replaceable?

May 24, 2011

    1. Definitely irreplaceable. I could get another of the same doll, but it wouldn't be the same, I think :/

    2. I nearly broke my doll doing her face up she fell of my garden table she has a rather big dint on her nose and scuffs on her ears and she is a resinsoul rong so her ears are fragile but I wouldn't replace her sculpt it wouldn't be the same and it wouldn't be right

    3. I think some of them I would, it depends. I would be hard to replace some of mine as they are so old they are out of production, so I'd re-shell them. :)

    4. We had a particularly favorite dog cross the rainbow bridge this summer. If we get another one, even of the same breed, it will not be anything like her. We can never get her back. If we get another we will soon love it just as much for its own unique personality. I feel the same way about the dolls I have. Each has a history - how I got it, where it has traveled with me, the costumes I've created for it - that cannot be duplicated by a replacement. However, if the ones I have were gone, I could get as much enjoyment from building a history with new ones.

    5. I dont think I could replace my dolls... Especially for fear that a replacement wouldnt develop the personality :(
