Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Really? Wow. That gives me hope that mine isn't far behind then as I ordered my boy on Sept. 12th.

      Oh my goodness! I just realized that I might end up with 2 dolls coming in within days of each other as I also ordered a 5Star boy and was given an initial shipping date of Oct. 15. I've never had 2 separate dolls come in close to each other before.

    2. Hooray for incomings! :dance

      I've had two dolls come in on the same day before. It's kind of difficult. I quickly realized which one was more preferred, and the other one didn't get as much attention. Not right away, at least. It takes me hours to go through finding eyes and wig for a new doll. So the other doll might as well just wait in the box until the next day, before I can get around to fussing with it too.

      Can't wait to see the new arrivals! Pictures please?

    3. Fortunately for me, I have the eyes already for Saraf (the 5Star boy). His wig has been ordered but hasn't arrived yet *sigh* so he'll be wearing a temp one. Clothes... I'll need to dig those up and likely cobble something together until I can custom fit some patterns for him. I'm still in the process of leafing his dragon arm so he'll need to suffer with just regular arms for now *laughs*.

      Nacre (Little Kios) will need eyes but I need to wait for him to arrive to get some measurements before I order them (which is fine). I can't see putting a wig on him and I'll probably be loathe to put clothes on him although a loin cloth thing will probably happen for modesty's sake. I do need to paw through my beads though and see if the pearls I have are okay sized for him and make him some jewellery. I know I have a few seed pearls still kicking around but I think I only have 4 or 5 of them. The other pearls I have may be too large for him to wear.

    4. My Little Kios arrived yesterday! She's so freaking adorable! I love her skin tone too... it's like this beautiful, semi-transparent, icy pink.

      I'm super happy because she takes the same eye size as my Leeel Tinman. I have two pairs of eyes for him so I just swapped one pair of his into my Kios (Tinman got the black marbles that came with my Kios, which actually suit him well).

      I promise pics this weekend when I'm home during a good bit of natural light! I just hope the pictures will do her skintone justice. Like the blue skintone, it's definitely different than the skintones the larger Kios/Pri were cast in.

    6. OK, had some major computer issues this past weekend so no pics yet. But, well, the Argodoll site now has pics of Little Kio in the Thistle resin, and I have a sneaking suspicion that these are pics of my doll before she was sent out. :P

      So, uh, check out Little Kio's page if you'd like pics for now, lol. I promise I'll take pics of my Little Kio at home with her eyes I gave her in ^_^

    8. Just got the notice today that my little Kio is ready to ship. Yea! Even with EMS I'd say a week at the very least to get from Russia to Canada and pass through the dreaded Customs before he lands on my doorstep.

    11. Nacre (Little Kio) arrived today! yea! he is just adorable and the deep blue is awesome. I do, however, need to either hot glue suede his hips/knees or re-string his legs with thicker elastic as he's got swivel hips and collapse o-matic knees going on. Has anyone re-strung their tiny and if so, what size elastic did you use?

      He was also violently opposed to the idea of clothing of any kind being thrust on his body and fought me the entire time. I likely won't have him wear clothes for the most part, but I am bringing him in to work tomorrow to test fit pearls in his head for his eyes and I try not to freak out the non-doll people too much with naked resin just lounging around on my desk.

    12. I hot glue suede mine, and that helped with the knees. Mine still sits around in a tiny bit of cheesecloth...XD

    13. I think hot glueing him will be one of my weekend tasks. I'm not super demanding of my dolls as far as posing goes, but them being able to stand by themselves is one of my sticking points. He'll likely only wear jewellery the majority of time and I'll need to make him some, too.

    15. That sounds really cool. I may make Nacre some ballon-style knee shorts of his own. just so he has something to wear at official god functions when he attends Wu-Tyr. Likely something gauzy. Does your big guy have the same loose knee issues?

    16. Slippery knees, yes. The joint has a hard time supporting the full weight of the doll.Hot glue sueding helped, but I am considering trying some wiring too. It's much less of an issue with the little one...doesn't weigh as much.

    17. One of my OD boys, Tyh, had the Collapse O-matic Knees of Doom (tm) on a grand scale and that was after I'd hot glued and wired him. I sent him out to Buff and she fixed him so that he stands like an absolute rock now. He is hot glued but not wired and I'm unsure if she needed to do anything further to him but I certainly consider it cash well spent. With that being said, I'm going to hot glue Nacre and see how that goes and if that doesn't quite do the trick, I may be emailing Buff to see if she can work her magic on Nacre. Hopefully I can solve his slippery joints myself but that's my back up plan.

    20. I ordered one of these beautiful little aliens, a Little Pri in purple, and he was finally shipped recently...but my lovely post office apparently can't read addresses (seems like something a post office ought to be able to do, doesn't it?) and they sent the package back. :(

      All of yours look super great, though! @tuneful87 yours are so gorgeous and unique! I'm excited to have mine home once I get this frustrating obstacle out of the way...hopefully it won't take too long to solve!
