Anyone news about their Valentine?

 

Am I the only one who thinks that this is (sorry for the word that follows) stupid? Why assemble dolls from diffrent cast when the resin color difference is so great? Did the hope that we would not notice? I don't get it?

And don't get me wrong, I love Aria dolls, I have my Narvy and I also wanted a Valentine and now I am waiting to see what else they are going to release, but the assembling of dolls from diffrent cast, is something that I cannot proccess. I just don't get it.

 

I agree, it's odd.

My Valentine order is still at the "money transfer received' stage. Can't wait to see her in the flesh!

 

Just looking at the Aria website and notice they are selling the bodies separately from tomorrow.

 

That's really nice of them But unfortunatelly it's only for 5 days!

Anyway I cannot wait to see the 16yrs line and the 18yrs line!!

 

I hope they will do the body sale again in the future! I don't have the money for it right now.

 

darkangelxix: My Narvy is at home. I noticed no resin difference and she is just fine, seems like the problems occurred in just one or two cases, maybe with the girls who received their dolls after they announced the problems with resin quality.

English is not my native language, I am going to explain better what I intended to say with cast. I meant the manufacturing process of the doll with resin, not with the molds. If this was misleading and caused misunderstanding, I am sorry. But this cannot justify the noticeable resin color difference that is indeed a problem for the other girls. Luckily, they are just solving it.
Maybe the parts with a different skintone were made in separate times during the whole process. It's possible that darker parts were produced before, so the feet, this can explain the difference in color between the extremities and the torso.

I am not going to blame Ariadoll by any means. I see that you love the company, I love Ariadoll too because I have purchased Narvy and I love her. I would buy more, but I can't afford them at the moment. I was discussing the problems of the company with the other girls, so I don't want to damage their reputation. Don't worry, I am not going to say that Ariadoll is a bad company just because of that, they have just started their business and gaining experience even through their troubles. That's all.
But if the company is having problems, it's obvious that they should be discussed. I had an issue with shipping, but I don't have a bad consideration of Ariadoll, they have a good customer service and answered to my help requests promptly, which is great! I hope it helps to clarify the situation.

The body sale is a great news. Unfortunately I have tried my WS Bera head on Narvy's body and it doesn't fit well, it needs modding.
I hope they will introduce WS to their resin colors choice very soon, because their normal skin is lovely but I still prefer white

 

Does anyone knows if the resin from Aria matches LUTS real skin normal, please?

 

Aquarina, the match is almost perfect with my Narvy. I have Senior Delf Wintery head and body from last december batch.
Now I can't check because I am out of town. I will provide you the pictures as soon as possible.

 

Oh, that's good to hear. Luts has some optional hands for Delf and Senior Delf, maybe they will match...

I want the girl body SO bad, but I´m not quite sure that I can afford it right now , hopefully, looks that I could get it later in the next doll releases from Aria, ...so, that comforts me a bit.

 

I'm seriously thinking about jumping on the body sale and ordering a 14 years boy body-56cm, so cute! But I haven't been able to find much on it and I'm hoping to gather some info quick before the sale is over (or they stop taking orders!). Does anyone have this body already? is it really shorter than a typical 60cm body? What size head would look proportionate on it, like, is it a slimmer build or it is more thickset?

I do have this body, unfortunately, I don't have another body to compare it against. The only clue I can give you is that the Dollheart clothes, which is meant for the SD13 fits the body perfectly! But the pants do go past his feet. So, he may very well be 56cm. I don't find the doll body to be very "thick." It's actually a nice standard size (except for the height! lol!).

It's also quite beautiful, very nicely detailed. I hope I can snag the 16 year old boy body myself! I love the aesthetics of Aria doll/Everpurple. I just have to sell my dolls first!

 

Trust me, you will love it, the body is well sculpted and it is beautiful!

 

It's a very close match to Volks as well!! I will try to post some pictures. I also compared it with Supia NS and it way off!

I like the new event heads from Luts as well!! Both of them actually!! They will both make a very sweet girl, but the problem is that I like my Narvy head too

Too many lovely heads, only one lovely body! I won't get another body from this sale. I prefer to wait and see what will release next.

 

Ariadoll body is great for hybrids. Actually the match is Volks pureskin normal, so it's possible to have a close match with Luts realskin normal, Napidoll normal skin, Dreaming Doll normal and even Little Monica normal. It's great for owners struggling with Luts event heads and a mature body for their Napidoll girls.
darkangelxix, I have two dolls sharing the same body and I am not quite comfortable with it. Maybe the best choice is really to wait what will be released in the next months.

 

I have this body also, and first off, I have to say I adore it! I'd been looking for a male around this height for a long time, and the 14 yrs boy body is exactly what i wanted! The body is slimmer than sd13 type boys, but not by much, which is great for clothing. He is definitely shorter though, and it's very cute next to my other boys. As for head size, I think a 9/10 size head would look better, but it's all preference. If I have time later, I'll take some pictures with my other boys, but I have some full body pictures in my flickr.

I compared is measurements to that of my Glorydoll boy and they both seem really similar which I'm totally stoked for! I think I'm going to try to jump on this sale, only I'm a little nervous they'll come out with a head in the future I'll love (I don't have a head chosen for this body yet, all I know is that it's adorable size is perfect for a character of mine) and I'll have no way of getting it. Aria doesn't sell its heads seperately, does it?
