1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Aria Doll (formerly Everpurple) Discussion

Apr 2, 2010

    1. I love those high heel legs, I hope they do match the old bodies and that they are for sale separately in the future :)

I remembered someone saying they wanted to put Hye on the Aria/EP body. I have Hye, Lusi, and Iris and I removed Hye's head today to give her a new faceup and I took some photos of them swapped. Granted my EP body is WS and my Hye is NS, hehe
I've wanted a smaller busted body for my Hye since I bought her, but I think she's a bit too petite for the neck, but maybe with some neck modding, it would look better?

I look forward to seeing the NS/NS match! :D

    2. I am not a selling agent. I am a customer. I ordered an Everbody Classic 14 boy's body from Everpurple on 17 March, paid for it the same day and received an order confirmation. Two weeks later, I wrote them asking when they intended to ship the body. They said in one week. Now I see a notice on their website from 29 March that says:
"Sorry but all of Everpurple dolls are stopped selling because of being over our collaboration with manufacturer.
We'll release new dolls with a new manufacturer as soon as possible so don't worry about that.
We'll notice about selling our dolls eyes after we finish our work about dolls eyes on process."

Have I been taken? What should I do? Unfortunately, I have a large order with Arcadia Dolls for clothing for this particular body. Do I try to change my order with Arcadia and search for a Volks body? Do I contact Paypal? AArgghh! Does anyone know?

BTW - the email address for Arial is exactly the same as the address for Everpurple.

      Ay advice?

    3. You could try posting on the Arial Q&A board. You really need to be told whether your order is canceled and should be refunded or if they really intend to fill those last orders.

    4. Thanks, St. James. I tried my ID and password from Everpurple on the Arial board and did not gain entry. I guess I will "join" their board. I've felt very uneasy about this order as there has been no communication from them - after they confirmed my order (and took my money.) I wrote, on the order, that I needed immediate notification of delivery date. No answer. I wrote, on the Paypal statement that I needed to know when the doll would be delivered. Silence ... I wrote them on 29 March - the same day they posted their "So long, good-bye" notice and received a terse answer that they would ship in maybe one week. Everpurple has even removed all of their contact information from their site. This doesn't look good, does it? Maybe it is time to ring up Paypal. Wow, I hate dealing with this ...

      Thanks for your response!

    5. Rowan, I would still be calm - the contact address for EP doll maker it the same as for Aria - nothing easier than mailing them with PP details of payment, details of order (have you made a screen shot of your order at EP wesbite? I usually do so for such cases like yours) and a question, when may you expect your doll. Also, I would include info about an immediate need of info so you can either start a refund procedure on PP or keep waiting for the doll.

Beg for clear info, it's your right!

I cross my fingers for your case to be solved safely.

    6. I wrote to them - several times. I wrote to them on their board - still no reply. I finally filed a claim with Paypal and now I hear from them. They now claim they shipped the body (conveniently) yesterday but they won't have an EMS tracking number until perhaps next week (???) They ask that I cancel the claim. I told them if they refund my money immediately I will cancel the claim. I've heard nothing since - and no refund today. Since I have a large order with Arcadia I needed to let them know if the boy had "grown" before they begin cutting. So, I am lucky to have found a Volks SD body for my boy from a lovely member of DoA and Arcadia graciously is working with me. Both Everpurple and Aria look somewhat "deserted." Are the dolls on Aria new sculpts or were they moved from their old website? The day I ordered the Everpurple 14 Classic boy's body, the only things available for sale were the heads and this body. About two hours after I ordered, all things were marked "Sold Out." i just feel terribly uneasy about this. I know sometimes we have to wait - but when I send message after message with no response after two promises to ship right away, I get nervous. They did get the message from Paypal. Thanks for the support. If, perchance, a body actually shows up from them, I will send it back.

The Aria website was taken out on 12 March 2010 and runs for one year. It expires on 11 March 2011. they have a notice up that they are closed to orders. The administrator for this website is Jung eui Noh. The Everpurple website has made their contact private and the administrator is hidden through a privacy contact group in Ontario, Canada. The Paypal claim names Cheang eui Noh. I wonder why the company would switch websites - both from the same domain service - when the everpurple.com domain has another year of service remaining on it. I just don't feel good about this and feel filing a claim with Paypal for a full refund was the right thing to do. I'm almost out of time to file a claim as Paypal will not honor a claim after 60 days have elapsed.

I am disappointed but hopefully, I will now have resolution.

What a big mess! My only boy - and he is already a big trouble! (grin)

    7. Whoa, this sounds terribly messy. Also, I'm quite certain Aria/EP are completly new to making business @ bjd market and that's why they face problems and can't solve them. Money-making needs skill, after all. :p And they might've thought ignoring will prolonge their time to produce the doll (finally) but after seeing PP claim, they realised it's getting more serious than just irritating?

Hope everything goes well. Either you get the doll in perfect condition or a full money refund!

    8. will she come with a wig or not?

    9. sunnysailor, she will not. But it's always a good idea to read the product description.

If You ordered heel parts, there should be the black shoes included, too.

    10. Any shipping notices yet?? She is supposed to start shipping today.

    11. @Rowan
So sorry I missed this earlier :( Ever Purple has been in the eye business at least for quite some time, even though they are new to BJDs. I have every confidence in them. I actually got a ship notification yesterday for my dolls, after posting an inquiry on their board. I think everything is going to be ok and you will get your doll!

    12. that is great:) I guess we are going to hear from then soon then:) I am gonna wait a few days and if I receive no shipping notice I will post on their board as well.

    13. I don't know what is happenig with EP at the moment, but I think it will not affect Aria, since it's a new company.
I hope they are keeping schedules ongoing, I ordered two days before the limited sale term and still, I have no shipping notify.
Sooner or later I will get it, I don't think there are many orders to be fulfilled now.
I wish good luck with everyone at EP, at the end it's a trustworthy company, maybe it's just a matter of rights what's going on, if Aria decided to split and to open their own business.

    14. Still none shipping notice for Narvi? Mine was ordered on april the 6th and... still got none email.

    15. Wow, there seems to be a whole mess of worry with the Aria/Everpurple switch, but I can say that even though the wait times for my boy said 2 weeks to a month, I didn't end up getting him for a month after that. They never sent me a tracking # on the website or through email, I had to ask for it on the message board, but seeing as they are a new company I pretty much expected that, and was never really worried. I ordered my boy (a Lusil) on the very first day he was available (around December 12th or 16th or so) and didn't get him until early February. I'm assuming that not many boys were ordered as well.

Anyway, I really expected all of what happened. In fact I find it much rarer to get a doll from any company within their specified timeframes, and I always figure when the say "next week" it probably means "as soon as we're ready", lol. I'm not bothered anymore. :D You can catch some pictures of my Lusil on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/35958991@N00/tags/everpurple/.

I didn't end up grabbing Narvy since I'm broke, but I wish everyone who's waiting on their dolls good luck!

    16. I wrote on their Q&A board and asked when my doll will be shipped. They said that they confirmed my payment on the 8th of April so they may ship her next week but this is not absolutely certain.

    17. Thanks, darkangelxix.
Mine was ordered on 7th and confirmed (I think) on 8th so maybe next week, too. Good :)

    18. Caracco, your lusil is too cute. Very good tanning! :D

I am expecting my shipping notice to be confirmed, too. If Ariadoll said that your dolls will be shipped next week, maybe my Narvy will be sent about mid-May or slightly later. I hope everything is ok with them, I don't worry :)

    19. Thank you soooo much Rosella! I´m planning to put my Hye on the body and what I see makes me very happy! :D Can't wait to get the body now!
