Aria Doll (formerly Everpurple) Discussion

Next week I'll give her my friend who is a great makeup artist, I hope to have a finished doll in a few days

I know it's a random information but her head has amazing movement range, in general this doll is wonderful - for this price I didn't expected such quality.

 

On the Korean page and on the English front page there are photos of the new Aria dolls from Sweet series - 14 years old Sweet Valentine and 14 years old Sweet Valentine's Sleeping.
The Korean page states, they will be limited to 25 pcs, at least in the Korean edition.

 

I wonder if it will be possible to buy the sleeping head separately. The Valentine nose is too cute lol XD!

Btw I saw the news dolls!! They still keep the amazing prices. I am a little dissapointed though.
The girl only comes with the dreaming head. I find her lovely, but I could not live wth the doll that sleeps all the time

However I like the fact that they give us the option to chose heads!! It would be even better if they could let us get them both...

Why do you think that this time, it's not a limited time offer and instead it's a limited amount of dolls?

 

I think, Aria Doll for now is probably run by a single person, maybe two. And because of that, they simply cannot make big and long production runs.

My Narvy should be shipped this week. Can't wait

 

Alright! It's great to see they are offering another preorder at this great price! Although I don't care very much for Valentine's face, I will definitely get the sleeping girl and sell her head later~ Maybe I can finally put together one of my floating head dreams! I do wish they offered white skin, but I can't wait to see what Aria comes up with in the future.

Hmm, I wonder if the boy body's been updated as well?

 

My problem is that I dream of narvy and her sister Valentine while my wallet is dreaming of money!

 

Valentine is really cute, but my favourite now is indeed Narvy. Mine has been not shipped yet, but I am really curious now after seeing those pictures ><
I really hope they will offer white skin, too. Aria body could be the best one for my Dolkot Bera.

Grrr... and I just ordered a Customhouse girl body cause she was cheap. If I hadn't I might have been able to scrape enough together to get a girl this time around. I don't really care about the head, but I adore the body and I really want one. Oh well.

 

You can order non-sleeping head and the girl's body, the head is the same for boy and girl, only factory faceup is different.

Shipping to Europe is 48$ - I paid that much for Narvy.

I do wish I had been able to order Narvy when she was for sale. Too many other dollie purchases going on. But I love the style of these dolls! I hope there will be lots of owner photos to look forward to

 

I love the nose on Valentine, and I am a sucker for sweet looking sleeping heads. I envision her with her eyes just opened a crack in a ringlet wig and a sweet old English style school uniform- looking like she's day dreaming absently through a lesson on manners.

But I doubt that I will be able to daydream of getting her myself, as there are other doll plans already in motion- alas..

 

So is anyone else thinking of getting Valentine or am I the only person who has seriously lost his mind with Aria dolls I will however wait for my Narvy first. See how I feel about her and then decide.

Btw, I am sure you have noticed that this new doll belongs to the Sweet line, but uses the same girl body as the 14yr Elegance line. Do you think that the girl dolls they are going to release in the future in the 16yr and 18yr line, will use the same body but have more mature faces?

 

I ordered a sleeping valentine this morning, I was really sad I missed out on Narvy, but actually I'm glad I did because I prefer the sleeping valentine sculpt, I'm always a goner for sweet sleeping molds. I'm hoping she'll like wearing kimonos, because I've yet to have a doll who actually suits them!
It's been lovely seeing owner pics, looking forward to more, and seeing my own girl in person!

 

If any of You want to buy Narvy, You can try now - on the website she is available again. There is no "Sold out" sign and "Add to cart" is working. I just tried.


Edit. And now it's "Sold out" again. Strange.

 

Indeed this is strange. It would have good and bad at the same time if she was available again. It would have been good because people who were not able to get her before, would have had a chance. It would have been because, I feel that it would become hard to trust this company when they say something is limited.

 

Usually when something like this happens with a limited doll, it means someone has cancelled their order after the doll was already made. It's possible it was a glitch as well since it happened when they released the Valentines. Also the Sweet and Elegance lines had the same body but different face types on the old Everpurple site so I'm assuming it's the same now. Elegance is more mature, and Sweet is more cutesy. I'm sure the 16 and 18 lines will have different bodies.

 

How can you cancel the order AFTER the doll has been made, when the company starts producing the doll when they received money from you? I believe it was rather some website glitch.
