Aria Doll (formerly Everpurple) Discussion

If you put all these info together, it sounds terrible!

The doll I recived is perfect and her resin quality is really nice! not to mention she looks quite sturdy and solid.
Now concidering the fact that there is a person who received a D cup Narvy with heeled legs instead of heeled feet, maybe they have problems with the body sculpt licence instead of the resin used. Who knows?!

I really hope that the rest of the people who ordered Narvy, get their dolls, because it's trully a magnificent doll and I really want to see aria doll getting their issues straight with Everpurple, because I believe they have pontential to create beautiful dolls.

I wish for the best and honestly want to see all of you who have ordered narvy, receiving your shipping notice after 1 or 2 weeks like they state on their site. if it's any help, I think will end up well, because they are selling Valentine now and have not paused the doll's sale. So it might just be some problems with the casting materials.

 

Maybe they have issues with the resin. But maybe - because of the same PP address - they are now in trouble, because previous manufacturer for EP did not made/ship the dolls and now they have to finish last EP orders by themselves. And they need time for that. One-two weeks. Who knows.
AFAIK Safrin Doll had new shipment from EP - but EP doesn't sell dolls now at all, as we all know.
This means, manufacturer finally made the dolls and is shipping them. According to website, it's the same person who runs Aria Doll. If it's one person, he/she is just very busy now...
I hope, their answer to my question is true (from QnA board), because I want my Narvy

 

Thanks rowan for your advice and consideration. I will contact Ariadoll as soon as possible and ask about the status of my order. I really wanted this doll, I hope for the best and I am looking for proper communication.

omg I'm kinda happy I don't have any moolah to get me Valentine. But I hope everything gets resolved soon cause I would really want an Aria girl form the sweets line .
Just why were they so hasty in taking orders if things weren't ready yet *sight*..=_=..

 

Maybe because it's really a problem with the materials that they are facing, something unexpected and before that problem appeared, they thought it would be ok to take orders.

BTW is her waist actually 21 cm? I don't have a measure her, so i cannot tell for myself. If it's 21 cm, it would be hard to find clothes for her. Can anyone, who has received this girl tell me?

I took some pictures of my Narvy today. Unfortunately the weather has been very gloomy these last few days and it's raining most of the time. Despite that, I did a mini photoshoot today, for the people who are still waiting their dolls and would like to see a bit more of Narvy.

Face up: Silent Night Aesthetics
Wig: leeke heat resistand in golden rod
eyes: Urethane drop rops 19mm
Clothes: Model doll celestian gown from dollmore
Corset: Angel hunt corset for Super gem girls
Shoes: Luts white pumps for Senior Delf (btw she cannot stand in them, the heels are somewhat short)

 

I got my Narvy today, her posing is really wonderful *o* and she is so heavy and she stands like a rock in her high heeled feet with her feet right next to eachother D: don't know how I feel about her face yet though. XD

Can you believe it, that I am having mixed feeling about her face as well? She is so sweet but I would rather have a girl that is more serious and melancholic or a girl that is 100% cute like Valentine. I tried to reduce her sweetnes through the face up, but it did not look good at all, so I ended up with this one.

Btw can you please do me a favor, if it possible. Can you please measure her waist and tell me how many cm it is? I lack the proper measure instrument, so I cannot do it myself.

Oh oh and please do not forget to post pictures of her!!

It is so good to see that more narvys are coming. That gives me hope that everything will work out fine wih this company

WoW!!!! they look so simiral!! Although Aria's hands would look better if her fingers were seperated at some points.

 

The hands are so similar, really does remind me of Unoss hands too. Can she fit SD shoes either flat or high heel ones?
Cause I saw a pic of someone having an Everpurple girl wear Musedoll shoes and I remember those shoes being a bit on the slim side compared to regular SD shoes.

I'm very pleased by Narvi: she arrived safely and is in excellent condition: no wrong pieces or damaged parts.

Here are somes comparions pics with Iris (Everpurple) and Unon (Alchemic labo).

From left to right:
Iris (Everpurple) white skin + Narvi (Ariadoll) normal skin (high heel legs) + Unon Latea (Alchemic Labo) normal skin



Iris (Everpurple) is white skin.
Narvi 5Ariadolls) is normal skin.
Bodies are similar: same bust and arms.

Knees have been slightly modified on Narvi.

They don't have the same pubis whereas torso is identical.

Hands are different: Narvi's ones looks like Unon's ones.

Narvi normal legs are same as Iris ones. But long high heel legs look like Volks SD16 ones.

Narvi's D cup torso looks like Unon's breast.

++We checked rumor about Aria doll from some communities.

We checked the rumor that Everpurple didn't send their dolls to customers after they took customers' orders & their money
and then Everpurple changed its name to Aria doll.

We answered it as the below;

1. Aridoll and Everpurple are not the same company
and Aridoll is the independent company of manufacturer, ui who manufactured Everpurple's dolls.

2. Everpurple has never been not to send customers' orders after took customers money.
There isn't one case about not sending customers' orders after took customers money.

Please tell us, if you find some post or some one about posting the rumor on the community.
If you do that, we'll appreciate that.

We tell you again, the rumor is not true.

Thanks for the comparison pics! I think the legs look better with the high heel legs. I luv curvy legs I draw them myself but 'everpurple' does those high calves where the curve of the calve on the inside should be lower than the one on the outside if that makes sense XD. But maybe they slightly changed that with the Aria version since the leg heels look better/more stable.
Also the B cup has a bonier torso than the D cup..I like the D cup torso but I don't need that size boobs for a girl dolly.

Btw the white skin looks beautiful!

 

ezzora, You can ask them for value on the order sheet, shouldn't be a problem. Two dolls shipped to friends had 50$ written, AFAIK.

My Narvy should be shipped this week, I hope. If the delay was because of the quality problems, it's ok. Good, that they care, it's a good sign. From what You all are saying, the quality is very good

 

I like the new body a lot better than the older style body. It appears a lot older and with the longer legs, a little more elegant.

I'd imagine Everpurple aren't overly impressed with the person who ordered a body. I can see from her point of view that she was worried about losing her money, but they did actually send her a body. The main problem was that she had over $1000 worth of Arcadia orders waiting on a body she was scared they wouldn't send and by the time they sent it, she'd already purchased another body and didn't want the Everpurple one if I understood the story correctly. Really, both are at fault in my opinion. Everpurple should have been a little bit more communicative and the buyer shouldn't be going around badmouthing them because she wasn't prepared to wait for them to send the body.

I plan to order one of their girls eventually. I love the look of the new body, and I was planning to get Narvy but couldn't afford her in time. Pity. Still I like the other dolls I'm seeing and the new price is great.

 

I don't mean to be a party pooper here, but don't you think that the hands are extremely simiral with the Unon hands,?? I mean that someone can easily say that they have totally copied the hands from Unon or Unoss. Do you think that this will create a problem?

 

I think Unoss/Unon and SD have been a great influence but I'm not bothered by it since it's not an exact copy the parts are all made from scratch. And there are plenty of other resin doll companies who got inspired by Araki's work.

Ever since Unoa was released plenty of other companies adapted the the same style knee joint. Most doll artist don't necessarily have to be very good illustrators. Araki is a very good illustrator and has made tons of figures before making dolls.
When ye draw a bend leg the under leg will be longer. So by making the underleg come out of the upper leg knee socket you will get a similar effect. With traditional ball joints most artist do it differently there's no knee socket cause the knee is part of the under leg it looks fine but the knees bend won't look as nice as with Araki's knees. You can only come up with this kind of idea if you are a good illustrator who pays a lot of attention to structure and balance. Araki san is also 1 of the few (the only 1 I know) that does symmetry check ups by cutting the face sculpt in half.

What I'm trying to say is that plenty of other sculptors are being inspired by other sculptors, some more subtle that others. And 1 most not forget that how many more original hand poses can there be made? I mean ye'll always end up with favorites.

 

that's very good to know i was a bit afraid... of the mods mostly, suddenly deciding that this doll has stolen parts or something like that huge fight thathad broken out between dollmore and dollshe when the dollmore model men were released.

i am personaly very fond of Araki san's work and I adore Unoas and Unoa Zero as well if not more!! This is why Narvy looked so appealing to me.

Some other news are that I took the plunge and decided to get a Valentine to be my girl's sister I have written on their Q&A board if I could buy an extra pair of heel feet along with her, for my narvy, because I did not get them and I have regreted it dearly!
