1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Atelier Momoni

Jan 10, 2014

    1. I tried to contaxf her through dm without any luck recently too.

    2. So small update, I contacted her through email and she got back to me saying "of course this email works" even though it didn't multiple times before (bounce back or no answer), so I'm glad that's working now? I bought an in stock doll from her and it's been a month, so I contacted her again and asked her if everything was okay and told her a slight address change I had. She contacted me back saying the faceup got damaged and out of the blue told me she would refund me. I begged her not to and couldn't understand why she'd suggest it, because I want her and I spent so much money on clothing for this doll already, and gave her some solutions, but then she hasn't gotten back to me since. And it's been about a week or so. Not sure what's going on. I just want my doll :( the lack of communication and communication issues are really hurting my trust right now.

    3. About a week ago she posted on her IG that she had been taking time off from social media for a while, but she was now working on a MSD version of Kitty M. She also mentioned a new pre-order. I honestly have no idea what's going on

    4. She posted that right after I got a reply from asking her if she was still around and where my stuff was. I'm happy she's taking a break and is okay, but the lack of communication is worrying for my order. So I hope some can happen soon.

    5. It's a little worrying when established dollmakers just "disappear", then come back and make a lot of promises, only to disappear again. I do hope she is just busy working away and doesn't have time for social media right now

    6. How long does it usually take for her to ship in stock dolls? Ive been waiting since july :pout:

    7. Four months is way too long for an in stock doll to ship. Mail from EU is not that slow.

    8. Did you receive your doll?
@LonelySapphireWolf if she was in stock, I would have expected her to post within 2 weeks and then arrive at the destination within 2 weeks and that includes time spent in UK customs. I'd ask for a refund through PayPal if you paid that way.

    9. I thought so, I emailed them but no answer still :|

    10. I have emailed them but no answer, and no dolls :doh

    11. I never received my doll, but after some pretty horrible communication I received someone else's doll. They said someone else received my doll, but I'm not sure if I believe them for a few reasons.

I left her negative feedback in the service review thread on DOA. Long story short she was impossible to contact until I opened a claim, then was extremely rude to me until I eventually got my refund. I don't ever buy from small artists and this experience, along with so many of them not fulfilling orders or turning into scammers now, put me off of it entirely. I never once did anything wrong to Momoni, I was never demanding, I was never rude to her, I simply wanted to know where my doll was because I was moving, and in the few times she actually did reply to emails she was unpleasant.

Sorry for the rant, but this situation was really stressful. I spent like $400 on clothes for Somni that I won't get back too and I was so happy and excited :/

My friend also has been trying to contact her about getting replacement ears for her Kitty (and has been a loyal customer for a while) and she's been leaving her on read and giving spotty communication (or not fully reading what she's saying).

I don't know what's going on, but no one's money should be mixed into it. @LonelySapphireWolf 4 months is not an acceptable wait time for an in stock doll for any company or artist.

    12. Thats just horrible.. I understand that things may happen in life, stressful horrible things, but a simple email would suffice. The zero contact is getting pretty irritating. Ive bought two instock dolls, and my money is just hovering somewhere in space now. And if she has been rude to you I dont expect that I'll have an easy time dealing with this either :sigh

    13. I get things happen to, but you're right, a simple email would suffice, and frankly I'm tired of making excuses and giving passes to people in this hobby when large amount of money is on the line. :/ That doesn't come easily to most of us. If you were in Australia I'd ask if I accidentally got your dolls, cause I got two of someone else's. But I already mailed them to the Aussie address.

She would barely reply to me before I opened a PayPal dispute and I highly suggest you do that before your claim time is up (which it will be soon after this long). You can communicate with them through there, and if needed you can escalate it to get PayPal involved. But the communication through them will hold her accountable. If you choose to cancel it, you can (don't do that before you either get your doll or the money back cause you can't reopen it), but the dispute will light a fire under her to communicate with you. Email won't do that.

    14. Exactly, I do expect doll artists and companies to value their customers as much as we value their art and spend very large sums of money on it to boot..

Thank you, I will try my hand with paypal and see if she will contact me

    16. Well it only took a couple of hours and with nothing said she refunded me.
Im glad it went without a struggle but Im also sad to have been waiting for two absolutely wonderful dolls in vain :(

    17. I'm glad you at least got a refund (and without hassle), but wow that's hurtful :/ Couldn't even be bothered to say anything or just try to ship them. I'm so sorry you had to wait this long for it to come to this conclusion. I highly suggest sharing your experience in the service feedback thread. I'm not trying to tear her down, but I think it's worth people knowing patterns so they can make decisions. I hope you can maybe find your girls second hand if you still want them :( *hugs*

    18. Im pretty bummed but I guess she did what was easiest for both of us in the end.. Im sorry it happened to you aswell and thank you for the paypal advice I had until 4th november before the 180 days were up, this could have turned into a big mess, so real big thanks!

    19. Oh wow, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I ordered from her years ago but this would depend prevent me from ordering again. Such a shame. I'm so surprised that people got the wrong orders!

    20. Very sad to hear her treating customers like this... when I got my dolls from her in the past she was very kind. It's always a sour experience when an artist seems to not care about the people who love their dolls.
