1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Baby BJD's <3

Aug 9, 2010

    1. Also you can get a ooak baby made, by one of the many wonderful artists out there. Check out www.doll-fan.com for ideas. I've always wanted a portrait baby of my son, but as I get further away from his baby stage (he's ten years now) it seems less important as I can't connect the baby I had with the big boy I have now lol! So do it soon, before he grows!!

I do like the idea of a baby bjd like your son but I think you might struggle to get one to look like him. Some ooak artists do make bjds, and there are some bjd artists who sculpt their own dolls who might be interested in a commission. Good luck when you come to search for the right one :)

    2. Many collectors "shell" their beloveds in resin form! It has been done, can be done and is fun!

However, this thread is really veering all over the place in regards to topicness for DoA. There are "baby" bjds that are on-topic for this forum; most successful shelling of children has been done with the child bjds - Volks, Lati, Puki....etc.. Good luck!
