I used the search and nothing came up in the section, so now I'm asking... What is French Resin? Thanks.

 

French resin is a formulation of polyurethane resin with a translucency--a "glow"--and a matte texture that many people find more beautiful and lifelike than opaque ("urethane") resin. However, French resin is prone to yellowing faster and more noticeably than opaque resins.

what does Delf mean? like whats the difference between a delf Soony and a CP Soony??? ~o~

 

Cerberus Project is the sculpting team that made the Delf line of dolls. Delf is the name of the 'size,' if you will, of that particular line of dolls sold by Luts.

 

I see people using the term LTF for LittleFee I think. I looked on here first and couldn't find it.

OK, question - what does SID and EID mean? I thought they were specific doll size or type at a specific doll company, but now I have seen them on other websites.
feeling kind of noobish here, just when I thought I might know a few things, I was wrong!

 

SID- can mean 'Senior Iplehouse Doll' or 'Star Impl Doll'

EID- Elder Iplehouse Doll

I hope I covered everything. Iplehouse started the EID and SID (I think) for their bigger doll lines. EID is 70 cm and SID is their 65 cm doll line.

Impldoll has their Star line as their 64 cm doll line.

I figured it might be something like that but I was going a bit crazy trying to figure it out.

 

I noticed Ringdoll was missing from the listing! Does Ringdoll have an abbreviation?!

Also I've seen IMO around on here! D8 I keep forgetting what that one's supposed to mean!

 

IMO means In My Opinion

I think Ringdoll's abbreviation is just RD.

 

As a complete newbie, ( i just saw a doll on line and loved it) I am very grateful for your help. The abbreviations are really hard to understand and this thread is a godsend. Thanks again

Mecha Angel is a line of dolls by soom, they're about 79 - 8oCM :3
