Wonder if many will take another chance on Bambicrony with their sketchy record of quality and lousy customer service? She is really cute though, but I am a little leery about ordering from them again.

 

well yeah I know what you mean, I've had a flawless buy from them but from all the horrors I'm reading lets cross our fingers they have the kinks worked out by now!!

Thank you for starting this thread. She's drop dead beautiful. AAGGHHH. I'm going to have to change all of my dolls now. AGGGHHHH. "bangs head on keyboard". Looking at her, I think the are double jointed knees.

 

I'm on the same boat of leariness as you especially seeing the photos of the recent tanned dolls they sent out.

Unofficial word is they may be 32cm not 42cm

 

With their normal and snow skin dolls, there have been not much problems. I have three perfect, lovely dolls from two seperate transactions from them. I'd never buy tan resin from any company anyway, ever. Too delicate and feeble stuff. We've seen that again and again with other companies too.
As it is, this Bella Bambi sample seems to be very beautiful. But not for me, I prefer more quirky faces. This one seems normal or white skin anyway.

 

She is really beautiful, in regards to the speculation that she may be an elf - BC has been making their new Ciao Bella human heads with ears that stick out more than they did in the past. It's more likely she is human.

I can't wait to see what's more in store for Bella Bambi, more heads and clothes!

 

So has anyone cleared up the 32cm/42cm thing? If she's 32cm tall then I'll have to have her. *weeps* I hope for the sake of my funds that she's bigger.

 

To me this head looks just like the heads on the smaller dolls - she sure doesn't look like anything close to 42cm. I wonder if it's more akin to the CH petite ai / junior ai thing?

 

I love the body. I hope she is 32cm (or maybe I should hope she's not). I wonder if they are just releasing this one head first or if there will be several to pick from?

 

LoriP: i wondered the same thing, in the way they worded their response they "she should be ready at the end of september" or something to that effect. makes it sound like it's just her. if that's the case, i will be in the safe zone, seeing as she doesn;t appeal to me more than the CB's that are on my list already *needs a Sisley and a Kumi maybe Lotti and Vin lmao*

Only one mold? I like the body. If they are 32cm, I'm really going to consider one. I'm more interested in the clothing and wigs for them.

They said Bella Bambi will release on Sept. 29.

 

On Zone of Zen - nancy_schroeder_ca says she asked Bambicrony if Bella Bambi was 32cm or 42cm, and Bambicrony told her Bella was about 32cm.

So if that is correct, Bella is a tiny.

Hm i dont like that nose I hope they release more heads! Glad she is baby though, and 32cm would be cool

 

I get the same impression too on the head. Where the ciao bellas are more in the same line of size as yo and leeke the bellas look like the same line of size as CH petite ai and junior.

I wonder why they decided 32 instead of 42 they originally said last year bellas were to be their 42 cm line
