did anyone notice that near general face-up it says december. Does that mean you will not get your doll til december? if so that's silly they really should have everything set WHEN they release. And i'm worried that they have no measurments on the site. Though i'm going to lie and say that i am not pondering a Vivivene.
The general faceup is done by someone NAMED December, not you have to wait until Dec. I hope that helps.
They're lovely, but there's something about the neck that doesn't look right to me. I may wait for the eventual elf version release.
I agree with Wee_Little_Faerie. Their arms seem to short and their whole bodies just look too short and tiny for the head. I am not really fond of them at all. But they still have very cute faces. I think it could be really cute if the body were changed abit. Lucky me, I have no longing to buy one at all. Yöss I am safe this time! Edit: Also notice that you can pre order the shoes they are wearing in the pre order section. I do love the set they are wearing for these pictures.
I kind of am digging the trolly look! I agree thats what they look like. I have plans for some green make-up and am thinking it will be cool. I have lots of fairies bute no trolls or ogres
You're probably right. The neck just looks really short to me...I wasn't sure if it was camera angle or the big pearl necklace or what. To my eye, it doesn't look like enough distance. Of course, I have more than one doll that looked odd in pictures on the site and looks great in person (FDoll Kemi, for example), so you never know. I will wait to see owner photos, I guess.
i was really excited but something looks a little wrong about them to me...i stared for a long time and as someone said they seem like an overgrown ciao bella @_@? i dont know, head seems too big or maybe its the stern kinda face-up..? or maybe its those wigs, mariannes lookes a little strange. maybe differant hair would be better i would love to see some owner pics with other face-up, though ^^

Has anyone had any success purchasing a full set Marianne on the English site? Doesn't seem to go through and I am getting antsy! *Never mind - just got through. Finally! A fullset Marianne Bella Bambi! Woohoo! And the school girl outfit, and the wigs, and the shoes...now bread and water...though I am already curious as to what Version 2 Bella Bambis will be like...Tanned Bella Bambis? Elf Bella Bambis? I am very tempted, but that torso joint doesn't look like it's got much in the way of movement, has anyone managed to find any more pics of it than the ones in the FAQ?
Yay! I have lots of shoes and wigs that should fit my Vivienne! Now to make her a special outfit while I am waiting. I am not so thrilled with the general make-up eyebrows as shown in the pics, but we shall see how they look in real life. I may be redoing them. Oh happy day! Its been too long since I had a new little one to look forward to!
I'm not tempted at all luckily. I love the vintage like clothes on them but not the doll itself. For me something looks off with the noses and the the torso
