Wellll...I couldn't resist and I guess my friends are going to use me as the guinea pig since I purchased both full sets. LOL I've been waiting for quite some time to see the Bellas. I figure that if I don't like them, I can trade the girls and keep the fabulous outfits. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I receive them in three weeks or so. Woohoo!

I think we may justt be used to the very long necks on BJD's. I think these look more like young children, so a shorter neck fits. I ordered Vivienne, so I see what they look like in person eventually!
So I was trying to figure out what it was that make me like one and not the other. If you look closely, Vivennes eyes are set farther apart. That's what gives her a different look than Marianne. I used to sculpt mini dolls in one of my previous obsessions, and that whole space between the eyes thing made a big difference. Now which one you like better is I suppose up to you!
The eyes are more 'realistic', in that they dont have that Cartoon-ness that most mini dolls have. Its interesting to see even the corner of the eyes, closest to the nose, like BC Sisily (sp sorry).
Oh don't be! I will have to live on bread and water for quite a while now. For the fullset photos I thought the folks at Bambicrony just stuck the Bella Bambi heads onto Ciao Bella bodies because they didn't have the Bella bodies ready. But the nude photos show the girls looking more normal. Marianne's head is larger than Vivienne's so that should be interesting. Now that I'm done bugging Bambicrony for Bella Bambi, I've begun bugging them for more Ciao Bella outfits. I just love Dressydoll!

wow! that was fast! bambicrony told me they wouldn't ship my order until the end of october...then again, i ordered a whole bunch of wigs and the outfit which might be holding up the shipment of my fullsets vivienne looks gorgeous! not to sound like a perv but i wish there were photos of her without the dress so we could see the body more...also a comparison shot with the ciao bellas would be great...hmmm...anyone on this board has gotten their fullsets? please post pics!!!

I really really like the body but I see it's not available. Wonder if Roko and Lotti heads would fit and if not, what other brand heads would fit into that body to get a hybrid. Anyone thinking along this line and willing to try?
I had resisted visiting the site, but I gave in, and fell instantly for Vivienne. Marianne is gorgeous too, so when I have money saved up, those two are coming to live with me. They remind me of childhood photos of my best friend and her sister.
Actually, I asked Yoon about that and I was told that Vivienne is the prototype. Yoon said he/she took the pictures themself.
