Bambicrony Bunny Land Discussion

Nov 12, 2007

    1. :( I'm pretty dissappointed. I'm pretty sure some people will get these dolls, they are cute in their own way.. but I can just imagine how adorable a full bunny from them would have been, I love those cute little ears, and the little feet and legs..

    2. How absolutely weird. They are the first human/animal cross breed that I actually like and find funny.
The price is a bit high for me, though. Must be because they are limited to 88 each? I wonder if they'll release (cheaper) standard dolls later.

    3. Cute but the normal face and hands look a bit of a cop out to me, it would have been so much better had they made the face and hands white to match the rest.

      Love the ears though!

    4. Ok I gotta say.... these are a totall dissapointment for me.
Just like Amanohara said, I was really looking forward to seeing what Bambi would do, I would have much preffered if they sculpted a whole bunny instead of taking a Roko & Kumi head. Stick them on smaller bodies and make some headcaps.
They are also just too expencive.
I am more then safe this time. I am not impressed at all.
And yes, these will be rare in a couple of years since no one bought them but honestly I dont think there will be a demand for them then at all either.
I might just be in a bad mood this morning, but I was so looking forward to seeing these, and just to have them not at all be what I was hoping for made me probably abit harsher on these.

Lets just say I wont ever buy one, no matter how rare or how good the owner pictures look.

    5. I could have been tempted if the heads had been smaller, they look a bit out of scale. I don't mind the bunny suit, think it's cute, but the proportions are a bit off to me.

    6. I am not sure what I expected, they are cute in a strange way. My purse strings are safe :D

    7. It looks more like it should be a limited outfit for a doll, rather than a limited doll.

    8. I'm pretty disappointed; I don't know.....I was expecting something else.
They don't mention if the white headcaps come off or the size of the dolls.
They look smaller that the regular elves. I wish the show pictures of the bunny girls next to an elf.
Gosh, I keep checking that website like every hour waiting to see pictures, but I don't like the fact that you can't put wigs on then.

I will like to see more pictures.
And then the fact that the hands are one color and the feet are white ...I don’t know…

    9. theyre..um...interesting...

      also...they scare me a little...

*runs and hides* pretty dissapointing for me

and this is coming from someone who adores bunnies and rabbits lol...

      *copied from duplicate thread*

    10. so... do they not have regular feet then? they're cute. hee.

    11. just read your post and im feeling the same.. i mean i always adored ciao bella but i would like even smaller ones...and i love bunnies so i was hoping this would be a companion for my tiny..

i dont know. maybe some owners can work wonders on them but..i cant even try to make myself like them. ^^; their hands are absolutely tiny compared to their huge heads!

    12. I like the idea of tiny babies, but the faces look the same size of a ciao bella. It would be nice if the babies could come with a regular headcap, and human legs and body. They would be babies in a bunny suit instead of some kind of strange hybrid.

I think Bambicrony could think about it in the future, cute big head babies, the little hands are lovely.

    13. Thats just strange... and not in a good way

    14. I not safe....I guess I am the first to fall in love with these little bunnies! I just ordered the little Kumi!

    15. The skin does look like normal skin, hopefully the White skin would look better, but I do agree, having a skintone to match the rest of the body would have helped!

I like the bunny suit, I find the head too big and the hands too small, I think little bunny paws would have been adorable.

Yes, I was hoping the bodies would be smaller, I would like to see a nude face-upless body up..

ALSO! having released these as limiteds with outfits and Viya faceups really hikes up the cost for a doll.. It would be nice to release these normally, maybe some of us would think of getting one..

edit: I asked in a Q&A if we could see nude body photos.. I guess I worded it wrong, they wouldn't allow my post since 'nude' is a bad word >< oh me, I should wake up.

    16. They should have done something like Feeple is doing with their puki puki sets, give them alternative magnetic hands and feet that look like paws, magnetic detachable ears, and even extra faceplates that look like the animal faces. Now THAT would have been adorable.

Then again, it might be something like copyright violation or something, too. Or at least people would be accusing them of copyright violation, no doubt.

      Anyway, I love Bambicrony's sculpts but honestly, these rabbit ... things ... are just bizarre. ^^;

    17. They're 16 cm. I think they're cute, not for me, but definitely there's something adorable about'm. :)

    18. I'm just going to say.. Roko is growing on me.. but :( I'd rather not have a Viya faceup, outfit or possibly story. Wouldn't that at least bring it down close to $200? I'd get one if it was in the hundred something range since it is amusing.

Really, they are amusing, but for me, not $325 amusing.

    19. Wow. I'm not into the "animal" dolls to begin with, i like looking at them but, not enough to get one. With that said i was still very excited about the BC bunnies, BC is my favorite company, and thought maybe i'd like the bunnies enough to get one.

BUT WHAT ARE THOSE!!! they remind of the little guy from south park, the one that is the clone to mephisto...very odd. And why Kumi and Roko again...

GAH. atleast i can safely buy my elf Roko with out a desire for another BC

    20. Theu have really cute faces--and that is the only nice thing I can say about them. The price seems out of line, but then, it doesn't sy how tall they are?

I'm with Carrie on this one. I'll pass!
