1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Batchix Gorgeous Guys 51cm discussion

Mar 23, 2014

    1. Oh hey fellow kiwi! :dance

Do I know you from any of the local facebook groups maybe??
(after all it's NZ, and everybody pretty much knows everybody)

Ah the etsy store, I'd like to stock more, but life and a hyperactive toddler get in my way. I am totally open to suggestions though if there is something I don't have that you'd like to see :)

Aaaaand not to get off topic, I have begun to feel bad for my Batchix boy, he hasn't had a proper outfit since I got him, so I've finally got around to digging out some burgundy velvet and some awesome vintage linen to make him a totally cliché romantic outfit.

    2. Your boy is a knock out! I love his soft look and I think the colours you put him in really bring that softness out. I'm looking forward to your planned new outfit! As for your store, I don't think we're allowed to talk about that here so I'll message you privately.

      I'm a recent import! Born outside NZ but I'm a citizen (I have more family here than where I came from) thanks to my mum. I'm a lurker so I don't know anyone much in the community (not here or online). And I avoid Facebook like the plague. D;

    3. xylene, awww thank you :)
      I messaged you :)

I have to say it looks like someone did an awesome job with the faceup and blushing on your guy...he looks awesome!

    6. I've had Inyol a couple months now and his look and personality have been evolving. Recently, I snagged some leather clothes from Raewhitewolf's Etsy shop and this morning I walked him over to Onehunga Reserve to take some photos. I'm attaching my favourite shot, but it was hard to choose just one.

Has anyone been doing anything recently with their Batchix boys? Are you planning on taking them to any conventions?

    9. Awww thank you Cat^..^
      You made my day :cake::chocoheart

    10. I really want to see your pictures of Alfred! Please share him with us soon!

Thank you! I definitely owe it to Rae for coming up with such awesome designs.

    11. Aelfred says hello. He's been hunting out west where there are no buildings. Lots of state parks. I'm not sure at 52cm what he could
shoot. Perhaps a small bird or mouse. The arrows are true to life with tiny, pointy carved stone heads.

Aelfred: "BIrd or mouse! I'll have you know Elves are renowned for their ability to bring down...."

      Yes, well, moving on .....

Bad Dollie Mommy - I haven't painted him yet. He's been here quite a while.
PS: he's wearing Souldoll Vito top and pants.

      :whee:

    12. Alfred is gorgeous! I love the detail on his bow and arrows: down to the tiny stone points. I'm sure he could take out a sparrow or even a mouse. Thank you for posting pictures of him!

And you did me a second really big favour, too: showing him in Vito clothes. I have really been wondering about how those would fit these bodies.

    13. what is the neck size on these?
      Thanks guys.

    14. About 3 1/8 inches, or 8cm. ^_^

    15. oh, crapadoodle. the first time @batchix brought out the wonderful Dark Elf, I couldn't manage it. :chomp:
now, I'm spending that much money preparing my house and running away from Irma.
not that it's the most important thing, but darn.
sometimes little things get you through the big stuff.

well, back to boxing dolls and putting them in closets and the guest bath tub. :shudder

Aelfred, my peach elf is already safely in the doll closet.

if anyone else in this group is in Florida, my thoughts are with you.

    16. home safe & sound then got bitten by a 'widow' spider that laid me low.

but, I ordered violet dark elf!
who cares if I spent so much money on travel & medical?

      :mwahaha

    17. Congratulations on your dark elf, petiteballerine! I really do have to play with my white elf more. They are really great guys.

    18. thanks, @Cat ^..^ - I have a peach Elf. I just love that wonderful nose, his haughty, handsome face.
and he's easy to find clothes for. plus Bats put up a pattern for pants.
He fits in with the Iple FIDs pretty well, but having someone from his own 'tribe' will make Aelfred very happy.

    19. Yes! I just discovered the fit of FID clothes myself! (I plan on getting one eventually, and got a couple outfits to see if I'd like the size or not.)
The waist on the jeans are about an inch big, but slim fitting through the legs on these two outfits.
The sweater here is a bit snug to get on, but does work well.
ITEM VIEW : FID - Man - FID_M Vintage Road Set

The shirt on this one is all just stretchy shirt material and relaxed fit, so fits a bit more easily.
I loooove the jacket, and the cuffs unsnap to just fit around Dark Elf's hands.
ITEM VIEW : FID - Man - FID_M Khaki Utility Jacket Set

Here's my guy enjoying the second outfit.
      Now to find shoes...

    20. @aernath - he looks so cool in the khaki jacket & jeans. I have those too. maybe Aelfred will come out of the Middle Ages and give modern clothes a try.
Time to give his bow and arrow a rest. those jeans on him would go with one of the skateboards I have. although I think he
believes he's too dignified for such foolery. I try to tell him he doesn't need to hunt and gather these days, but....

I love the FIDs. But sold one of the men. two girls and a guy are enough for me - for now.

shoes for our Bats guys are another matter. I bought two pairs from Sarah: black ankle boots with silver buckles and the 'suede' strapped boots.
nothing else fits them very well.

      :sneaky :daisy 8-)
