1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Best/oddest freebies

Feb 21, 2010

    1. :) Oh, this stuff is nice to remember!
I got my Zaoll from Dollmore with the infamous starshaped cookies, 3 roseshaped soaps, a pin, a notepad, a doll sticker, a postcard, free wig and stockings. Plus she came in the usual underwear set.
I was so happy - first doll and such great treatment from the company! :)

Junkyspot sounds great too though. Might try to order something from them just to check. :)

    2. I got in my AE King from Mint on Card and got a Darth Vader magnet!

    3. I got a Darth Vader magnet today along with candy with my AE King from Mint on Card.

    4. I've had a wide variety of freebies from all over the place. Dollmore used to send eyes - acryllic or glass depending on how much you ordered, as well as stickers, post cards, pins and other things. Tata's Paradise once sent me a necklace - just a simple silver pendant on a chain, nothing fancy. Luts has sent collectable cards, but the most memorable thing I've received has been a few facial masks (the kind people use to clean their faces, not doll face protectors).

    5. Wow, everyone seems to have been given some really great gifts! All I have every gotten is a free scarf from Nine9Style, and I have purchased a lot of stuff from lots of companies!

    6. i got a LOT of free gifts when i purchased my first doll, and since i bought him from ebay, i was instantly suspicious that i was being scammed.
the seller allowed me to pick seven pairs of eyes from her shop for free, and i decided to only pick five pairs. and a free wig as well.
low and behold, it WASN'T too good to be true. all the eyes were lovely and i adored them all.
i've since lost all but a few pairs of the eyes (in one go, and i'm still pretty upset)
when i ordered my DOD Sha, he came with an extra pair of hands. it doesn't say on the page that he comes with them, but i wasn't complaining. :)

    7. Oh, you got the Nine9Style "scarf" too? Heh, my family and I had a good giggle over that thing. (Maybe yours wasn't as weird as mine. . .) In my case it was made out of some black, slightly sheer, *very* stretchy material. They also didn't finish the edges so it curled up on itself so bad that we at first thought it might be pantyhose. XD What makes it so much more ridiculous is that the shoes I had ordered were really well made, so the hose-scarf was even more incongruous in comparison.

I haven't gotten anything besides that with a purchase, but most of my purchases have been second-hand, so it kind of follows. Well, unless you count the wooden box Agatha's final pair of glasses were sent in, but those were handmade and part of an art trade really, so it's not the same thing exactly.

    8. Leekeworld gave me a beauty face mask..... O.o

    9. I got a FLCL barbie with my BBB Ariel. It was a hoot, getting a doll with a doll.

    10. I've had some lovely freebies from Dollmore, some cookies, postcards and badges. I got a pair of socks from Leekeworld once, that was sweet :)

    11. I love Dollmore for the freebies (postcards, badges, bracelet, snacks) although I'm gutted they've stopped giving away the eyes. I've gotten several pairs of their D-glass eyes as freebies over the years XD
Oddest thing I got from them was that tan coloured Dollmore Towel. (I think it was for their anneversary or something)

Also: I love those star crackers, they taste great! XD

    12. I ordered during an event and didn't know it, so I opened a box to find a free head inside! She later became one of my favorite dolls.

    13. I got a headband, pins, postcards and tissues in pretty BJD packet from Dollmore when I ordered my suntan Momo. Other dolls were second hand and I got free eyes and Bambicrony postcards when I bought my Marion from DOA member, that was really nice. The oddest thing I had was face lift mask from Leeke when I ordered few wigs, eyes and some accessories. At first I was thinking wtf... face lift mask for a doll or what? I couldnt read anything but the `face lift mask` because everything else was in Korean. I gave it to my mother since I dont think I need face lift at the age of 20. :sweat
She enjoyed it though and asked me to ask for another mask with my next order.

    14. I've ordered from so many places and I've gotten rose petal paper soaps form Dollmore, 3 peices of hard candy from Leekeworld, and SOOOOOOOO much stuff from Junkyspot!!!

Junkyspot really takes the cake for their generosity on giving out freebies as I've gotten literally all kinds of really cool and random stuff from them! :aheartbea

    15. Weirdest? Leekeworld's face mask, hands down. It would probably be less WTF-y if I could read what it said.

The best freebies come from Dollmore. I've some some pretty stickers and buttons from them, and my sister has a really nice doll calendar. Although I do love getting pictures from companies of their dolls too.

    16. When I ordered my MSD from MoC, they sent a little Hello Kitty miniature accessory package. I think they're called re-ments...?

Anyway, there were two little purses inside, just the right size for my pukipukis.
      They're so adorable! :fangirl:

    17. This happened to my friend, I was ordering the doll on her behalf and neither of us realised Luts were doing their summer event, when we opened the box we were like 'WTH is that?' Needless to say, she was very happy! XD

    18. Last year I got a calender from Fairyland... it was the best calender I've ever seen, and it's depressing now that I can't use it anymore or get another one without paying for an entire doll. At least I don't think you can buy their calenders alone. Can you!?

Other than that I've gotten Soom post its, and the awesome Dollmore cracker cookies too (and beautiful rose pink eyes among other things from Dollmore).

    19. The weirdest were those Dollmore star crackers. I wasn't a fan. :'D The best was the Fairyland calendar! I think I'll use the pictures as posters ha ha!

    20. I wasn't a fan of those crackers, either. They didn't taste good, imo.

I forgot that Dollmore was giving out celendars if you spent a certain amount of money around Christmas. I didn't spend that much, but they were selling the Calendar (it was less than $10) and it's cute. It's not a wall calendar; it's meant to fit on a table or desk.
