Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I happened upon these dolls today and was quite taken by the body sculpt and sweet faces. I read through this thread though and saw that there were problems with thin resin and breakage? Are these problems also evident in the new body? And does anyone have any photos of the thin areas to share? Lastly on sort of a side note how well do these dolls pose?

      Haha, sorry to bombard the thread with so many questions, but I am so very curious about it since I like the sculpt so much!

Welcome to the thread! :D I can only speak for the male body as I only have that one, but it's a new one, from last December, and there's no thin areas whatsoever and no breakage-hazard areas from what I can tell. The only problem I had with the body were the webbed fingers, but those can be fixed with just a little bit of sanding. The male body at least poses really well, it has good stoppers in the knees and hips work very well too. I'd say it's quite a good poser, although that always depends on what you are used to. :'D

    4. Thank you for your answer and the welcome! I'm glad to hear that so far in the newer bodies there are no problems with thin areas and breakage. Hopefully they fixed all the problems in the new sculpt, and or changed their casting method to prevent this. I was also glad to find a box opening on a blog somewhere that shows they are packing the dolls with a lot of care. I may just have to put Chestnut on my list now. :) Thanks again!

      I'm desperately hoping mine come soon. They're both paid off now so I think I'll need to go clothes shopping for them in the near future :) I'm glad they aren't too curvy like my other dolls, because this should make them a lot easier to dress :lol:

    10. Congrats!! Which one did you order? Well, I ordered mine at the end of February and I'm still waiting, so I guess at least two months. I'll post here once my girl arrives obviously, so then you'll know for sure :)

    13. I got my Amber and Kirara on the new bodies and my Baiguo head today! I haven't opened Amber yet, but the other two are gorgeous :) The inside of Baiguo’s head says “Ginkao S” though :lol:

      The posing isn't as expressive and easy to deal with compared to my nYID and F65 dolls, but it's gorgeous nonetheless! The body is so cute and more innocent looking, I think. :aheartbea

      I think my only complaint is that the resin color wasn't constant throughout, but that's easily hidden. :)

      A height comparison! From left to right, it's BY with heels, nYID with no shoes, BY with flat feet and no shoes. They're all precariously leaning against one another because I didn't have a flat surface to stand them on, hahaha. You can also see the super-gappiness of the head/neck connection.

      I quite like the BaiGuo head :D

    20. I waited several months for them since I took a very long layaway with Amber/Kirara. Thankfully, they shipped very quickly after I paid them off. Only about a week or so :)
