Regarding Elfdoll, has anyone tried putting Elfdoll hands on the old style BY body?

Hello! New in the thread - though I have been lurking for a while I own a Glisten in white skin which I purchased from Idaheika! I have only the body at home as the head is having a faceup in much more professional hands than mine. But here's a picture I took after I gave her a horrible, temporary faceup:


Apparently she's going to be a redhead (I had thought that she'd be a blonde... but looks like that she doesn't want to be) XD I really really love the body so far, I think it's absolutely beautiful! I'm really thrilled to have my very first girl in the house. I'm not quite decided what to call her, for now she's Lovisa, but that might change.

LookS like I have really been sold to BeYours dolls. I think I'm going to get Chestnut at some point! I really hope to see some owner pictures of her too, so far I haven't come across any?
Anyway, you all have such gorgeous dolls, I have been happily browsing through this wonderful thread! Glad to join in ♥

I've read your answers and looked at pictures of both bodies and cannot find any differences. If someone is better at "check the differences between the pictures", could they point them please ?

 

From what I've seen so far, the new body is slightly slimmer, with narrower shoulders and a smaller waist, and has updated/prettier hands ...

 

Hi! I'm sooo glad I found you people

I have been eyeing BeYours' dolls for a while now, even before they became available at Sunny's World, and I have admired Cat's Eyes and Redcopper the most. Still, somehow I never quite reached a decision.
But now they have released Primula Malacoides and I am in dolly love^^ (The fact I can remember *that* name says it all I guess^^)

Anyway, I tried to email SW, using their [email protected] address since I had some questions first, but the address refuses all my emails. I even tried emailing them from different mail host addresses, but nothing gets through to them. I also tried to post on their q&a board but nothing happened so far, my message didn't pop up there. There is only one message in all 2013 shown on that q&a, so I'm unsure if it works at all.

Maybe someone can give me a hint what I could try next? Or did it happen to someone before? I only found people so far who found communicating with SW very easy and quick... *le sigh*

Ashley Shell i've got to say that you have a really wonderful magic fingers! That dress is too awesome! Laura's looking all gorgeous and classy.

 

I ordered my Catseye on the New Girl body today! This is the first time it's happened that I had a character shelled in a doll that I thought was perfect-until the perfect doll really came along! But my other girl isn't going anywhere-she has a sister-they're my Loli and Mori girls.

I found the website a bit difficult to navigate-I hope I did everything right. It didn't charge me for shipping-I guess they'll do that later?

Edit-I waited 24 hours and didn't have an order number on my account, so I wrote them on the Q & A about it, wanting confirmation that my order had been received. They didn't post my message but they got back to me privately and said it wasn't showing in their system. So I 'bought' her again, and now I have an order number. I asked them to invoice me for shipping.

So far, I'm very pleased with the customer service.

 

Back - just to show my girl again. She had a new faceup by much more talented hands than mine, and I also cut her wig. She looks stunning now ♥ Not sure what her name will be... But we'll see.

Thank you so much! Wig is from Leekeworld and the eyes are from MUdoll. They're green-gray and really nice, even though I'm not sure if she will keep them. ♥

 

Does anybody have measurements of the Ceiba? I am looking at their website, but nothing is showing, except the header. Would appreciate help or ideas where to look for it. Thank you!

 

Thank you! I think Glisten would make a wonderful boy as well, it really is a versatile head. Either one you choose, I think he/she is going to look fantastic! ♥

I have two Efldoll heads at home too (Sian in normal skin and June in snow white), I think I'll do a few head swaps too. Elfdoll is a bit funny with the head sizes, the June is a lot bigger than Sian... I think Yuan, being a "sister" to the Sian would be of the same size, but I'm not sure.
But yes, time to see if Elfdoll white and BeYours white match at all...

 

OMG! You have to post her when she gets to you!! I've been eying her for months, but it's so hard for me to buy a doll without seeing owner pictures >.> It's such a hindrance of mine I can't wait to see her!!

And it truly is awesome when sculpts do that for you.
