Hehe They sure are lovely! I don't think the whites would match though, I saw a comparison of BY with Volks and BY white looks far more yellow than my ED snow skin head. But lighter head and darker body is less of a problem than the other way around, a head is easily blushed to match.
That being said, I'm only waiting for a reply from Sunny's World about the old and new hands, then I'll finally order my Amber!

 

I got my PG in December, but unfortunately she still does not have faceup and clothing. Anyway, it may be useful to someone photo PG with a clean face.

hm~ I asked Sunny's World some months ago, because of the new hands and they told me that BeYours don't sell them separate! because my Ceiba has the old girl body and I really don't like the small hands on her! I wanted the new (bigger) hands but nope, no chance! *sigh* but I'm curious what Sunny's World will tell you! maybe now BeYours sell the hands separate? I wish you good luck!
(but luckily my Ceiba will get the new girl body soon! so no 'small hands problem' for her anymore~ *yay* )

 

I have been waiting for my first bjd from Dragondoll but i fallen in love when i saw beyours doll so i thinking about beyours doll will be my second bjd ^^ does someone have Chestnut photo? she is limited doll from them .

 

Just bought my chestnut from SWdoll Was going to go through beyours' etsy store directly but $90 is crazy for EMS for an SD. I'm really looking forward to her, she's the first white skin doll I really wanted It'll be a bit before I can order her delf companion but I'm looking forward to having my two girls in dolly form together by the end of the summer!

I've just seen pictures of BeYours Chestnut! She's adorable! I was wondering if BeYours or any of their dealers sell heads by themselves? These dolls are very sweet!

BeYours NS is quite pink compared to Volks NS. Has anyone made a hybrid? Would you recommend BeYours WS to work with Volks NS? In this picture it looks quite creamy and could be blushed darker to work with a more yellow NS like Volks.

Oh em gee, tamagochiii your girl is absolutely lovely! I only just recently discovered Beyours dolls and they are all stunning! My favourite so far are Chestnut and Primula, I was thinking about getting Primula as my Souldoll Hye's sister, they seem to have a similar look. You absolutely have to show your Chestnut when she arrives goldi, I demand it!

Hello! I am new to this thread and BY dolls. I have written to Sunny's World and I love that they have layaway, but I really wish you could get the face up And I have all kinds of questions for this thread! Once you start a layaway with SW do they order the doll for you? It would be bad if you started and then they hit their number limit...

I have also emailed the company and just waiting to hear back. But, I'll ask here too: They do not offer layaway on their dolls do they?

Since they are so limited and layaway would be best for me, I am really afraid I am going to miss my chance, ugh! And I like to have default face ups for when they are on their way home. Then you can play right out of the box. I figure you can always change it later!

Anyway, Thanks for any info you can share and I would love to see more picture spam of these lovely dolls!

EDIT: I got an answer back already! I used [email protected] which is listed on their Etsy account and this is the response:

"I have been to your website and your Etsy. I was wondering if you offer any layaway plans and what are the terms if you do? Also, I did not see anywhere to say I want a face up. Do you just put it in the comments if you do want it? And the last question: What is the difference between the old style boy body and the new style boy body? The old one looks bigger but is it more muscular than the new one? Thank you for any information!"

FROM THEM - "Thanks for your mail, it's 50%, 50% layaway we can accept for now, it means first 50% for your order, and when the doll is finish, we will send you the doll when you paid other 50%.

So sadly we can't do the official face-up for now, because some personal reasons. So maybe you need to find someone to do it.

About boy body, only the new boy body for our dolls now, so you don't need to think how the old one looks.

And the other new size boy body it's 65cm tall one, it can not match on all beyoursdoll except Bamboo".

Ok, please don't be angry with me, but they look a bit generic to me. Is there something special about the bodies I'm not seeing? Or the type of jointing, the resin? Maybe just me. Harleyfae

 

As i know,they only had one kind of boy body on sale in the 1/3 size doll line.

The "other new size boy body"is a different size doll line,can't match on others.

 

Hi Maskcat, Thanks for answering me! I might still purchase one of these boys, even blank. There is just something about the sculpts that I like and fit my characters. I also like to find new companies that are starting out because a lot of times the prices start well, and they are new and interesting

EDIT: I did put a blank Glisten on layaway with SW & Doll Workshop, along with some clothes I really hope fit. Can't wait for him to come home!

 

Ahhh I just stumbled along this thread! I've been wondering if anyone else around fell in love with BY, hehe.

Does anyone have owner pictures of Primula, Tree or Ceiba? I'm actually kind of set on Primula but I'm a little worried about her looking weird because they don't really have front view pics of her.

So where are owners buy clothes for the larger sized Be Yours boys?

I copied down their measurements of their new boy body (that's the only one available now...?)


Height: 61cm

Head circumference: 22.5cm (8/9 wigs?)

Neck width: 10.2cm

Shoulder width: 13cm

Arm length (from where to where?): 18.5cm

Chest: 25cm

Back length (from where to where?): 19.5cm

Waist: 20.5cm

Hips: 27cm

Leg length (from where to where?): 32cm

Foot length: 7.5cm


I have been looking at different sites comparing the doll measurements. I have found a few:

Luts Senior Delf boys: very close, except they are 62.5cm tall, and their back length is 11cm and BY is 19.5cm! I am not sure from what point to what point Luts is measuring though.

Soul Doll Double boys are also close.

Dollmore Youth Adam's size is 62cm and similar measurements but chest is 24cm and are hips 24cm. Its possible DM SD sized clothes might fit. Has anyone tried on clothes from them on BY boys?

Anyone else know of company clothes that will fit?

EDIT: Thought I would share a pic of the background of my doll Glisten. Yep, his Mom is Queen Elsa and Dad is Jack Frost!

I know, I know but I really like this ship and then I found Glisten and it all just went together. This is just a mock up of course...And who knows, maybe some day I'll make his Parents into dolls too, and use Be Yours to keep the dolls in the same family/company
