Yay. I can join this thread. Love seeing the pics.

I always try to wait for events, but no matter what, it doesn't work out. Either I wait and then they don't do an event and what I wanted was sold out. Or I don't wait and then they do offer an event with either a head I love or a good discount. Can't win.

I was going to wait to see if they'd do a Chinese New Year event, but reading about the limited numbers on the sculpts, I got anxious and put my P.G on layaway. I'm glad to read it only takes about 6 weeks. The doll should have arrived to them by now. If they do do an event... hopefully... I will probably have to just pay off this layaway and then make another order. Maybe for a Red Copper :P

I'm BeYours dolls have really nice sculpts. Does anyone here pwn a red copper? Though i'm thinking of making him a girl.

Ah, this thread is so beautiful! Love what everyone has done with their BeYours dolls.

I'm just popping in because I've been eyeing Pansy lately - she has such a cute face, agh! I really don't want to put her on my wishlist, it's long enough already, but she's just so cute... Has anyone ordered Pansy or thinking about it?

I'm generally very happy with how my girl poses! She's a dream to pose, really. The only thing I can complain about the newer girl body is her ankle joints, they keep twisting and turning in very odd positions. It's very annoying. Also I think I'll mod her wrists at some point so they can pose better, the mobility on those joints could be better. Other than that, I'm so happy with how she makes every pose so easily! And it's so rare to have a girl body that can actually SLOUCH. ♥ Is everyone else happy with their BeYours ladies and gentlemen?

PS. I lost one of her heel feet along the way, I'm really sad about that. ;_; And I'm moved since so I have no hope of finding it. I might have thrown it out in the trash along with the bubble wrap or something. I wish I could buy her new ones from the company, since their white skin is very yellow (which I love, but it would be difficult to resin match if I got heel feet from another company)... But I'm pretty sure they won't sell them separately, since they don't even sell their bodies separately.

 

I finally ordered my Kirara! I'm so excited. She'll be my first girl doll.

Does anyone have any recommendations for where to find clothes, since some of you mentioned a lot of things not fitting? I haven't bought her anything yet except for a pair of tights, which I hope work. I can sew so it's not a big deal, but I've been looking at dresses and I'd have to order a bunch of stuff and have nothing fit.

 

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but does anyone know how the BeYours white skin compares to the Migidoll b - type normal skin? I'm looking to do a hybrid, since the 65cm boy body is absolutely perfect for my character. And I like Olive ' s sculpt enough that I wouldn't mind buying the full BeYours doll at all. Feedback, or a push in the right direction would be lovely.

I wish I could help but I have the exact opposite of what you asked for lol. My guy will be BeYours normal and my Migidoll guy is B-type white.

I thought there was a pic of Migi resins compared to one another. I know B-type is similar to Volks (I had it backwards, thought they were not similar). I think there's a picture on the website. And iirc, there's also a picture of BeYours compared to Volks on their website. So we can kinda extrapolate the match. I could be wrong. I'd link you but I'm at work

So, it looks like BeYours might not be a good match for Migi B-type at all

 

Oh! So exciting! And thanks for getting back to me. I'm actually still in the planning stage, gathering information, so nothing's set in stone yet. If it's not too much to ask, could you maybe take a couple comparison photos when your boy gets home? /w\

 

I'll try to remember. Judging from the pictures, BeYours white and Migi B-type normal might be ok with some blushing.

It's been five days since they told me the doll arrived and they were going to ship it, but nothing after that. I read somewhere that SW Doll takes forever. Nooo.

In the meantime, to keep from going crazy, I've been looking around for owner pics of P.G to try and get a feel for this guy but I didn't find too many. The pictures I did find were cute, though! It's a shame these dolls don't have a bigger following. They're so adorable.

 

Hi, sorry to bother as i didn't read previous pages, just this one and didn't find anything about it. I cannot access to BeYours's website, seems it doesn't exist anymore.
So far, both Sunny'WW and LegendDoll still offer their doll but for how long ?
Does anyone have any information about the company ?

I love the new sculpt Pansy--this one may have bumped Cat's eye from my wishlist--so torn! I'm still in love with Olive for a boy--the faceup for the blonde on the site is amazing. I wonder who did that?

I took him to a meet over the weekend. People were asking me so many questions about ordering. They said they had trouble with the new site, too (no cart, probably not done). I'd probably stick with reps for now.

 

So, I'm sad...I was trying on a coat for my Glisten, removed his head cuz I wanted to mess with it to get a better fit and the S hook slipped, fell through the body to his waist!

When trying to put him back together the elastic slipped from my grasp twice, fell again and created some chips in the resin at the neck hole & waist

He is strung so tight I can not pull it back together. My pulling also stretched out the S hook. I have to get new string & hook to redo him...

Anyone else have a similar accident? I really think too small of an S hook was used & with the pressure of the string it slipped. I am hoping the damage is minimal enough to not cause any more problems.

 

Actually, the second time I removed my guy's head, the s-hook stretched out. I felt it give and stopped what i was doing and was able to replace it with a better hook before anything else happened. BeYours does not use heavy enough hooks for their SDs.
