Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. To my knowledge, they do take layway, and they even let you decide on how many payments you pay, if I understood correctly. I would however advice on telling them of your layway plan in advance, and then keeping to that plan to avoid misunderstandings.

      As much as I am fan of the new girl body of BY right now, I have to say that the Glisten head might not be what I am searching for after all. It is a pretty sculpt, very extraordinary on its own, but I either need a new character to pop up for it, or to let it continue its journey to a new owner. Either way, I've decided to give myself some time to come up with a new plan for the head.

    3. JLostein, that might work out well for the Glisten sculpt. :) For me, he is tad a bit too youthful for the character I had for him, but I think this sculpt might make a great young boy. I hope to take more pictures and think about it, what I want from my lady-Glisten. x3

Haha I didn't realize how straightfoward I was until I re-read my comment. xD It's just that I thought the head looked cute on the site but now that I see it blanc,the eye shape isn't really my thing. Which is not to say it isn't a nice sculpt just not my taste. Hope you can get it sorted out.

    7. Such a pretty face up. Man I hope I can become this good at face uping. Sometimes I think my face ups don't do my redcopper justice. The resin is also kinda difficult to work with since it's so smooth.

    8. Good news, everyone! Beyours is back up and running, and they respond to their messages again!

      their event is actually taking place now (I think until Feb. 28) and you get a free head with a 1/3 doll or with two BB dolls. The sculpt is called Baiguo and I have pics, but I'm unable to upload at the moment, sorry! It's very pretty though! Face-up on the event head is $50,- if you go through BY directly. SW unfortunately doesn't have face-ups available.

      Also, because of Chinese NewYears and the Spring festival, this month they will take orders, but they'll start making the dolls next month. So any orders placed now are expected to be shipped in late March/April.

      yay! My Amber is going to be ordered soon!

    12. That head is so adorable! I wonder if I could find someone to split it since I'm kind of drawn to wanting Chestnut but I don't think I'd have any use for the event head, no matter how sweet it is. Oh well >D.

      Now I have to decide if I want to order Cat’s Eye or Ceiba! They’re both so gorgeous. :D I think I’m leaning towards Ceiba though. IIRC, BY only makes a certain amount of each sculpt, right? And Ceiba has been out for so long now... I don’t want her to run out before I get her. :(

    16. I'd go for Ceiba, especially since she's been around longer. But it's tough. They're both gorgeous.


      Here's a question: I'm thinking of RedCopper as a female. I love the head sculpt and something about it just makes me feel like it could make a unique sort of strong woman without being too masculine. There aren't many out there, so I'm going off the company images and then 1-2 owner images. Are the male heads physically larger than the females? I don't want a physically larger head on the female body. Measurements on Sunny's say that the male heads are slightly smaller than the females, but I want to be sure. :)

      Ohh, and RedCopper as girl would be gorgeous! :D

      Idaheika posted pictures of Glisten on the new girl body a page or so ago. I believe that’s a male head, so it should give you some idea of the body proportions :)

    20. I believe they do, if you e-mail them. I asked them for the female body and they had it on for a while, but because my plans changed, I haven't gotten around to getting it. *sob* They brought it down I think, but yea >_<;
